because of their elasticity finding the right size isn't as important. It is with a steel one though. With rubber, you can literally fit everything into a very small one.
They stop the flow of circulation, giving you a bigger, thicker hard on. Oddly enough I've just masturbated with an adjustable cock ring or 'cock tie' for the first time. I wear one a lot of the time for sex. The one I have in our pic is more a piece of jewellery really, but still has the same slightly restricting feel.
