PIXresizer is a freeware program that will do it all for you, just download it from the internet. Type it into Google and it will list plenty of places to get it from.
Its a small program and resizes all pics very quickly, you put your pics in one folder, specify a second folder for it to place the new pics, decide on how small you want them then just hit the resize button. Very simple very quick. If its for posting here, you will find about 800x600 the best size. |

I would recommend IrfanView (again Google it, free download from Cnet and download.com). It's brilliant -- really easy to use, lots of extra functions if you want them. Easy to select every pic in a folder and specify, for instance, resize to 50% of original size, or re-size to a specific size - 3cm x 2cm, for instance, if doing lifesize pics of my genitals
Also great for cropping, removing red-eye etc.. |

I get an error / get told to resize my photo when I try to upload a photo.
Modern digital cameras take very large pictures and they will cause errors if you try to upload them to the site. If you resize the photo to 1024*768 or smaller in a graphics programme and save as a JPG or make sure they are under 1mb in size then they'll upload fine. Most graphics software will easily resize images, or we recommend the free VSO image resizer which lets you right click and resize if you're using Windows. Alternatively, lots of digital cameras let you choose a lower resolution when shooting pictures which would also work.

"can anyone help us resize some pics plz asap"
Download Picasa which is a free program from Google.
Open program, highlight the pic you want to resize.Click the export button at bottom middle of screen.
Picasa will resize the perfect size without any other changes and these pics can then be uploaded to Fabswingers. |
