After spending about 15 minutes in the Jacuzzi at a swingers club last night, I showered twice before I left, when I got home and again this morning. But why do I still smell of chlorine, especially when my skin gets wet?
how can I get rid of the smell? |

Its awful isn't it? I was the same after going in a hot tub a few weeks ago. It was my hair I couldn't get rid of the smell of chlorine from. Just perseverance and lots of shampoo...conditioner...leave in conditioner...mousse...hairspray...perfume...just anything!! Lol! |

hi sounds like the concentration was to strong, when you were in the pool , did your eyes sting ? ask the owner which chemical he has used and how old it was .Bromineis is the one to use because of the water temp, you could have an allergy, if you skin go's red you will need to see your doctor. as to the smell you could try a hot bath to open your skin pores ..connie x |

I went swimming yesterday, showered and applied bronzing body lotion. I now smell slightly of chlorine and slightly of fake tan! Gonna add hairdye to the mix now! |

"Uh oh watch your ph levels
yeah the hot tub in one particular club gave me some downstairs issues! Embarrassing!"
Keep some balance activ or rephresh in and use one after a jacuzzi dip to prevent the downstairs issues. Both are available from large branches of Boots. |

"Have a bath in tomato juice..... oh, no, wait, I think thats for if you get squirted by a skunk lol! "
It also removes the green tinge that can affect bleached hair when it comes into contact with chlorine. |

Best to drink lots of strong lemon juice (fresh) n sit in a sauna.....chlorine ...too much which they will put in xtra to compensate for other fluids, is taken into the lower epidermis (skin levels) and is slowly emitted by the body eventually....hence you stink.
Sauna n steam rooms are the answer.... |
