Im thinking about changing my profile pic, id like to stay discreet so no face although I have a good selection in 'private ' to add to messages.

So what makes a good profile pic in your opinion? If not a face pic? What makes someone stand out the crowd? Thanks x

Something unique and creative, generally. Or if you have a really attractive body part, use that to it's best advantage.

Frankly, though, as a single lady, you could put a pic of you up with a bag over your head and still do ok

Probably be an interesting experiment, that one, actually

can go one of 2 ways,.

either something like you have, that gets people clicking into your profile to actually see what its a pic of, or, a nice one of yourself shown in the best way.

maybe just YOUR favourite pic of yourself.

Some really good pics don't look half as good when they're shrunk down to avatar size, have a play around with your pics and see what you think looks the clearest and best

I know what you mean. Mine was of me stood in the middle of Nottingham town centre on Saturday night, but it looks pretty bad shrunk down.

not far from iceland,,,,,, tescos is nearer though :-) (near leeds)

Lynx deodrant and sky remotes are exclusively the domain of the male avatar so those aside,,

My personal preference for ladies avatars,, Lingerie a colour that contrasts against your skin tone,

Get a friend over with a digi cam, any make will do, as long as it can take the pictures.

Try and take them against a neutral background, ie a white wall, or if their on the bed, get simple one colour sheets, and wear something that contrasts or stands out in that colour.

In terms of hiding your face, you can simply look down in the picture with your hair swept across your face, down across the shoulder is good as well, or up against the wall (police hands up type pose) with your head looking sideways.

If you want better lighting, just get some 200 wat bulbs and replace them into a couple of reading lamps and light your pictures that way for a better effect.

You don't need to be David Bailey, and a little effort goes a long way. There are also a number of clubs on the scene that do very cheap photoshoot days, and you can go along and do a ton of poses. Tease II does them fairly regulary.
