Message advice: been read

Hi everyone, I have a load of sent messages that have been read but not replied to or deleted.

I was wondering if that means that the girl has read it but not deleted it and may be keeping it to reply at a later date?

Or is it that the message was read and then deleted but fab only notified me that it had been read because that was the first action taken?

Just a bit confused…

Might mean the delete button is broken through overuse.

Might mean they just bulk delete periodically.

Might mean everyone was abducted by aliens just after reading.

Might mean its not worth trying to second guess other people and that you're better off just concentrating on those that reply!

It just means it been read.

We women are fickle. Might hold onto it for a few days before replying, or are checking you out in forums, then deciding what to do. Or we may just bulk delete every week or so.

And some of us only ever delete to bring old messages back up the page.

If you leave them they just drop off the end of the page. Why bother deleting?

Might mean they get loads and have not got round to replying

Might mean they have periodic clear outs and are waiting for a time to delete it so as not to seem rude.

We resolve to reply to all mostly unless it's serious drivel or a repeat offender.

Might be lots of things so send a reminder! Joking!

Not worth dwelling on you may get a message soon or may not. Be a nice bonus but not the end of the world. Keep plugging away.

More than likely that they don't bother with any mailbox housekeeping. I never do. They get deleted at a certain point on their own.

Do yourself a favour and ignore your sent box. No good can come of obsessing on whether messages have gone unread, or read and not deleted or deleted without being read. Once you've sent a message, forget about it and if you do get a reply it will be a pleasant surprise.

I wouldn't worry about who has read and not replied I tend to send message if they get read leave them a few hours then delete if the person wants to reply they still have it and I don't worry about it

I would say if you don't get a reply then she is not interested ! If you think like this then if you do get a reply in a few days a weeks time then it will be a nice surprise

Yes you’re all right, I shouldn’t worry about the sent messages. I was curious about it for a while and so I wanted to hear what you guys thought about it.

I bulk delete, if I was going to reply to a message I would do it right away.

You are doing your best abs we know it's not easy, send your messages and then you have done all you can, the rest us out of your control x
