Personally I'd ban people who fall into the above category. Its a swingers site not a chat room. Would help clear out fakes too

Don't agree at all. The site is for however people want to use it within the rules.
Just because someone isn't verified doesn't I think make them fake , maybe they prefer discretion over verifications.
If anyone doesn't like a profile for whatever reason it's really easy to move onto the next. |

Its just an opinion. I just don't believe its what the site is about. Even if people do just want to chat, its not hard to get verified.

What does it matter at the end of the day? Just do what is good for you and mind your own about others. If they aren't bothering you or doing you any harm, then leave them alone. I have come to see that it is reactions and threads of this nature which do more damage than anyone who has been on here for six months and not been verified. |

sorry OP it sorta backfired on u, and as some point out verifications arent everything, though they are to some.Some of us use a networking strategy(we arent all inane strangers btw misstress lol),
but u seriously cannot come on making suggestions on other members like what pics they have and what verifications they display...when u arent showing them urself.At the end of it, I dont know when ur verify was from(it could be 2010 and uve been doing fuck knows what in that time),it could be its a webcam verify(that wont really hold up for securing meets)...I think u see my point

You can't veri some one now if you have only spoke on the phone. I agree with the veri over cam should not count. But as for banning people who have no veris on show after 6mths I'd say NO to that as like other posters have said we all use this site in our own way |

weve met a few people and not received verification or given one - we still chat and will meet them again but all agree its not about on the record so dont need more - we have veris to show we are real already

I don't understand how the process of banning someone who had been on here 6 months with no veri would stop fakes and timewasters? They would had had 6 months to fake or timewaste. Then, because they were fake or timewasting, simply create another profile. |

I didn't have any veris for aaages when i first joined. I wasn't anyones cup of tea but that didn't mean i was not genuine. It's only recently i've pulled my socks up and built my confidence and been out there getting meets.
Its not as easy as it may seem when you first join. Especially for single guys with a very different look (talking about myself).
And who gives a shit how someone else uses their profile. That's their profile. You just concentrate on your own i say.

What about fake veris?
I was offered one within hours of joining the site. If I'd been a man posing as a 23yr old nymphomaniac contortionist who happens to be a part time porn star (that's why my pics are all over the internet) I would have accepted and been verified and would have passed your criteria.
It's not always as clear cut as has veri is really as advertised.
Add in the fact that verified people can be no shows too... |

a veri doesnt mean a person wont mess someone about and i always say until someones knocking at my door i dont know if they genuine or not!
i chatted to guys on phone and had contact with prior to meets..even say on way..then no shows!! they were verified!
despite anything its all a chance online when meeting someone as plenty of bullshiters about verified or not |

The thing with veris is that almost universally only the nice ones are published, you can be a total timewasters, turn up 1 out of every 10 meets, abuse people etc but be nice for an occasional meet and get a good veri and publish just those
I've had no shows from verified people, it's no guarantee of success
And photo verifying proves you are a guy/ woman /couple etc |

I don't ban them but I don't purposely go to chat with them and certainly don't expect to meet them.
The reason being, a lot of women come onto this site just to chat, laying on an impression that they want to meet but never do. They just like the attention!
Don't get me wrong, I like to chat and get to know the person but unfortunately for them, I do actually want to meet too!
I used to fall into this trap often but changed my tactics and I get on fine now.

We have been on here a couple of months and not verified yet. Its not through lack of trying. we are gagging to have a meet. But we find our babysitter is not willing to babysit more than once every couple weeks or so, or at a moment's notice. So It's hard for us. We go to chameleons and have fun there though and had cybersex. |

I've been on here for over a year, I left for a good chunk of that, and have had several meets during this time actually using my account - but just haven't got the feedback - I use the site every day and enjoy doing so, not every one without the feedback are fakes or time wasters. |

Just because someone isn't verified doesn't I think make them fake , maybe they prefer discretion over verifications.
If anyone doesn't like a profile for whatever reason it's really easy to move onto the next. "

I meet mainly married men, who are "straight"
I would never ask for or give a verification, discretion is important to me, and to my meets.
Some people use them as a tool , that's their choice, there are other ways of verifying if someone is genuine or not, for me that includes a phone call, and chemistry, I trust my instinct, and so far it has always protected me. |

I agree but we all joined with no meets or veris on our profiles, without a guy or a lady giving us the benefit of the doubt and meeting up, whether for a social or a meet for sex, none of us would be here now. My first meet, he had a very shy, inexperienced lady to deal with, much patience from him and here I am. I don't get regular meets which is down to my status and other reasons no doubt, but we can chat to people by Skype or other cam sites, chatrooms here, so we no they aren't fakes. Anyway, little rant, wasn't aimed at the poster, just a opinon |

Just to point out we have only one cam veri. Y? Because when we do get the rare chance to arrange meets after sorting out a babysitter we get let down very last minute by some who are very verified I might add. Others seem to think that if they chat and we get on, they can worm their way to a single meet with the mrs. Simply because they don't like the Mr. So to ban people like us, would be unfair really and misguided |

I think it's interesting that our OP keeps saying that "a swinging site should be kept for swinging". It's very holier than thou really. I mean, many people use the site in many different ways, but that doesn't mean they are wrong.
I have used this site for dating and I've also made just friends on here. I guess I'm wrong in the OP's eyes for not doing what is his definition of swinging.
As for the verification system, that can be flawed anyway. Personally I take a lot of veri's with a pinch of salt. I prefer to talk to a person to make my decision as to whether I want to meet them. |

I would ban people with no photos.
What is a timewaster? might just not be for you or you might not appeal to them. Some thing should be done for those who agree to meet but fail to turn up for no reason, some sites use feedback to warn others but then another profile could be made. |

Okay, I read the first few (maybe upto the 15th) post(s) and this is my tuppence.
DISCLAIMER: there WILL be lots of contradictions following:
1) Yes its a swingers site, for people who want to swing.
2) No, people don't have to "only shag" in order to use the site.
3) Yes people have every right to not show any verifications.
4) More than 3 months and no form of verification/tick (different from hidden!) is suspicious.
5) While everyone is entitled to how they choose to sue the site, verifications "by webcam" (only) does not count as swinging.
6) My personal opinion to swinging actually involves a lot of what people can do in bed as well as out of.. not just one without the other. My opinion only. Those who want to "chat-and-cam-only" I think may be on the wrong site: Yes, those who joined "not to meet, but only to chat and make friends" can do so on ANY site... I don't go to the library, market or horse racing "to make friends".
7) Speaking of personal choices and everyone's entitlement... when will this site stop having a go at men that have "cannot accomodate" but think its perfectly within the entitlement of a lady that has "cannot accomodate"?
8) Take it a step further: when will the site stop thinking its not okay for a married man but cheating on his non-swinging wife as he uses this site,.. but is perfectly okay for a married woman cheating on her non-swinging husband?
And yes, I'm fully prepared for those that chose to de-friend me base don my opinions, at 4 in the morning I couldn't really care less
