Can be fun but I find that some gay guys can be a bit too full on & don't take no for an answer
If its your first time at a sauna try during the day midweek when its quieter if you're looking for a gentle introduction |

Went to one was a bit shit, noone aside from me who was younger than my dad lol
So decided if go chill in.the steam room since if paid to go in anyway, say there half asleep and relaxed, suddenly felt a hand on my balls :/
seemed very different to swingers clubs where people are.friendly/chatty the blokes just stare at you or sit really close staring at you and don't say hello just reach in for a grope :/ |

I have visited one in Southampton (three times) and one in London near Waterloo Station (once). There does seem to be a strange etiquette in them. There is not much conversation and you have to make yourself look as if you want someone to approach you, if you are too shy to approach men yourself. You can end up strolling around in your towel like everyone else, never making eye contact with anyone. In each visit, I have eventually had some fun but it has happened by someone reaching out and groping me and then going with them to a private room, or leaning towards me and whispering if I'd like to go with them. I've not seen anything really heavy, like anal, its mostly wanking and sucking. Quite liberating though, being able to walk around with nothing on except a towel. |

I have been to nearly all of the Saunas in the London area, where the vast majority of the clientele are older than you might care for I have found them to be good fun and people have always took no to mean no in my case anyway |

It really does depend on the place, and some places are really strict on the 'No means No' rule, as some had mentioned that were persistent pests. Generally it is not tolerated for any guy to be a nuisance, just as at a swingers club. Many have cafe areas, where you can unwind, socialise etc, as some places are less chatty/friendly than others - more northern places are probably more friendly than London, for example.
Some have special interest days, such as themes, fetishes, or tgirls etc. Check out their events. Otherwise, treat it as a spa, use the sauna, steam room, possibly the gym, etc. and any fun's a bonus. |

Pink Broadway is really pretty good, its clean, well maintained and has friendly staff. Facilities wise it has changing area, a good lounge, hot tub, steamroom and a couple of saunas downstairs. Upstairs are a selection of playrooms with lockable doors, a video lounge, a room with lots of alcoves and gloryholes and a decent sized dark playroom.
Officialy all adult play is kept upstairs although usually no one complains if someone start something in either the steamroom or hot tub.
I would say its quiet common to see more than just wanking or oral in the group playrooms upstairs at the weekends especially in the darkroom but it does happen in the others as well. |
