Profile Honesty?
Jump to: Newest in thread
Hi,, I had my description changed from TV/TS to woman after my operation, and after taking a "sounding" on peoples thoughts on here. Following some very suportive posts I asked Admin to change the description, which they kindly did.
In the interests of honesty and openness I have left a note on my profile about my TS past but a few people I have met recently have said that it is really irrelevant and i should delete the reference.
May I please, once more, ask for your _iew on this ??? |

I think you have gone through a lot to be what you want to be...a woman....clearly from your pics, you are indeed female so I'd agree with what they said and delete the reference to who you once were and concentrate on who you are now. Wishing you all the very best |

I think it entirely depends on how you feel about it. Do you feel that your past is part of what you are now and informs your thinking and actions in a way that's relevant to how you meet people and interact with them on here? If so leave it in but if you feel it has no bearing on who you are now in this context take it out. It will undoubtedly lose you some meets but gain you others and personally I hold honesty and integrity above almost all other qualities so if I were to choose one way or another I'd say leave it. |

well, its definitely a difficult subject isnt it, but ateotd, legally and physiclaly, no matter what you were, you are a woman so im not sure if there is any need to state what you used to be, unless i suppose, you are looking to have a relationship.
but for the purposes of a bit of fun, be who you are |

By stating you are a woman, you kind of lose some mystery, I mean, so many women, by mentioning your history, I am sure you will attract a wider cross section of people,
Labels are for jam, not for people, you are what you are, be happy and most importantly, do exactly what you want to do. |

I speak as someone who's had sex with at least a couple of full TSs. As far as I'm concerned they're women, they've been through a lot of hassle, hard work and surgery to get there. Why would I treat any full TS differently to any woman? |

As long as your happy being a woman, who cares about your past. Go out and have fun with whoever you want, whenever you want.
If you decide to tell people of your past and they don't like it then it's tuff because you are who you are...not what your were.
So take the reference down n enjoy being the woman that you have worked hard to be |

You are a woman and should describe yourself as such. |

"_eddonistik you are treating them differently by calling them full TS instead of woman!"
If I'd put
"I speak as someone who's had sex with at least a couple of full women"
and
"Why would I treat any full woman differently to any woman?"
It would have sounded a bit strange. When I'm with women who've had the full op' I think of them as women and treat them as women |
