I've always been sensible about meets and met some nice guys and good friend through fab. Tonight has to be my worst. Hate myself for being stupid and falling for lies |

Those who mentioned future meets,to be honest yeah prob has put me off meeting new men. Maybe only for while but certainly will be even more cautious than I am. That's twice in a week I've trusted someone and been proved wrong. Will be letting others decide for me in future

I've had a couple of bad experiences, including one who went round slagging me off. Take a short break then come back fighting, I've since met men who restored my faith. |

Sorry to hear that, but maybe look at whether the 2 instances had anything in common and if you can tweak your selection process...why would you let someone else decide for you in future? That sounds like a recipe for disaster to me. Best of luck |

As a single guy I seriously mean it and apologise on behalf of the guys on fab giving other guys bad name. It takes a while getting used to but you only learn how to filter out the genuine ones after having a bad meet or experience, as even I as a single guy on fab has found out. |

Sorry to hear you had a bad meet. I've had a few bad ones myself, and I found myself put off for a while too.
It may help you to feel better, by letting a friend know who your meeting, and have them call you, to see where and how you are. You could have a secret code word to use if you felt uneasy and want to go. I would even tell the guy, before meeting, that you always tell a friend the profile name of your meet, as for your safety. Any genuine person, wouldn't be bothered by that, but hopefully anyone dodgy would be put off.
Take your time, as you will need to feel back on form to go out and meet again. There isn't any rush.

Thanks for concern everyone. I've calmed about it and decided take a break from new meets. Have hidden my profile(I think) will still be online as I like forums and have friends chat to on here so will still be on.
