A (very tongue in cheek) newbie's guide to constructing a profile....

1. pick an appropriate name that reflects your personality....moniker's such as fannymagnet, skullcrusher or 9inchknob might sound great in you head but don't really do it for the majority
2. when writing your profile, again choose your words carefully as they may come back to haunt you! more than one sentence is usually the norm but there is no point going too far in the opposite direction as people do tend to give up halfway through...sentences such as 'will fill in later' just don't cut it and asking someone to write cheesyfeet in the message header is so anal...just be yourself and write about you and what you are looking for...although 'very fussy guy looking for a nice girl that can suck like a dyson' might narrow it down a bit!
3. choose you pics carefully..obviously if you are the local mayor/police chief/high court judge then perhaps it's best to keep your face pics hidden! but if you are actively looking for meets and want to be seen as being genuine then a pic verification is the first step on the ladder of successful swinging..
4. don't lie about your age
5. be truthful about your sexuality and also your marital status
6. try not to come across as too desperate...certain ppl can sniff desperation a mile off
and finally, have fun with it..a profile is your calling card so make sure it shows your good points (if you have any!) and try injecting a bit of humour...and enjoy!! we don't bite (much)

Unfortunately then, we are one of the anal ones as we ask for a certain word within initial message. Immediately sorts out those that reads the profile and those that don't.
If that's being anal in happy to remain that way. But some good advice there. X |

Many people have written good threads of advice for newbies but the search function is hardly ever used so within the day the advice threads drop off page 1 never to be read again.
This site really needs "stickies" |
