after meeting all the requirements to meet a cpl., i'm tripped by last hurdle.. I'm not a heavy boozer.. lots of hurdles to get over just to meet ffs lol.. do most single lads here have same trouble? |

no. because it' what they want and entitled to say like anyone else.. it's frustrating personally wh)n u think all is well then hit you with something like that. if they said it on their profile fair enough but they didn't. it was a 'by the way' |

Id be glad they turned me down for not being a heavy drinker, screams pissed-up meet to me which Id hate.
But also don't forget some people come up with reasons why youre not suitable because sometimes thats easier for them than saying to someone that theyve changed their mind/dont fancy you/whatever the real reason is why they dont want to take if any further... |

thanks. i'm only disappointed they need to get sozzled. either way they dont want to meet and i accpt it! didnt argue with them. bit bad though if they relly do need to get plastered and its not for me. |

howver, i dont really get these 'hoops' single guys feel they need to jump through.
we only had 1 requirement, dont bother messaging until we were looking, and loads couldnt even do this, so no wonder people have a whole list |

I agree with you completely about the drinking as that's down to individual preference. It was an earlier post where you said you were getting fed up with all their requirements which made me question you. If you're getting fed up with someone when arranging to meet them then why would you carry on?!
Not everyone is going to be able to include everything on their profiles and preferences/requirements will differ day to day and meet to meet.
Maybe you should include that you aren't a heavy drinker on your profile to avoid similar situations in the future?

re crystal wheels: dont think i said that... said after meeting all the criteria they add something like that, they are (as everyone else) can amend criteria.. I accept their decision.. just fed up they add what i think's unreasonable.. I'm allowed to moan about it am I?

Just mark it down to a new experience even if it is really annoying. No one should have to pretend to be something there not just to get a meet. It will happen for you just persist and be yourself and someone will be more than willing to accept you for that reason. |
