loughborough

We posted a meet last week for a hotel meet as we where staying in the Premier Inn in Loughborough.

it wasn't until we got there and saw the reception right in-front of the door that we though crap how are we going to sneak people in. Luckly we could get another room key and could have blagged two couples walking in before 11pm and the desk is unmanned after that.

Are there any hotels Loughborough/Nottingham/Leics/Derby better suited for this ?

Have you tried village hotel brand. Their hotels are absolutely awesome. All the facilities and a snip price. Quite busy too so never a problem to get people in.

we've had fun in the jury's inn in derby a few times-just walk right past reception as though you belong there-you draw attention to yourselves if you look shifty

Glad you posted that thread.

We were wondering that ourselves. Have had one hotel meet but the other couple had booked a room there too lol

Central

Usually main city hotels have the most restrictions on entry, especially at night. Often travelodges have key access doors, in order to get to the lifts and room areas, and this seems fairly common in other hotel chains now too. Realise this isn't highlighting one good east mids hotel to use, but it's interesting to see if anyone comes up with a good one, on top of the Derby one above.

Jury's in Nottingham used to be very easy to access but it's been a few years since I stayed there so it may have changed.

Premier Inn at M1 Junction 28 on the A38 is good, if its before 11 you can go in through the pub (Castlewood) which is attached and don't need to pass reception at all...

Some great ideas there thanks, twigged asking for another key would work in Premier Inn, we didn't end up meeting anyone that night, and due to a wedding the staff where still on but uninterested at that stage anyway.

North Notts

Just walk in chatting and dont make eye contact lol. If you are looking for central loughborough premier inns your best bet. Ramada jarvis is a bit more expensive but you dont go past reception...
