English is taught in Germany as a matter of course, i was born there, you wont find a problem being understood.

"hi there most Germans, Austrians and Swiss speak fluent English...there are great clubs in most major cities but would help to say where u going to ... helen and dan"

Not so sure of that one.

We didn't find any English speaking people in the Swiss clubs we visited and though some Germans speak English they prefer not too.

We lived in Switzerland for 2 years visiting clubs and Germany for 6 years so it is not based on a one off visit to a club.

peak district

We played in a French swinger club last year, our first club abroad.

Believe us, you don't need to talk the language! Nobody we could see was having a conversation...

I lived in germany for 4 years ( osnabruck) and the swing life style is fantastic out there, so liberated, even have naturist parts at the local netabad ( swimming pools) If you go out there try visiting NOVUM its a fantastic sex shop and is like a supermarket - even has a cafe in some of them lol. spotless and not at all dingy like some here in the uk.

As for the language barrier, my german is rubbish but i found if you said, 'enchuligan, meine deutch is kleine sprachen de english bitte' which means excuse me i am a small german do you speak english, it used to make them laugh and break down barriers and they are greatful you are trying to make the effort so will automatically correct you and then talk english, they dont need to know you said the sentance wrong lol but its a great ice breaker.

Ross-on-Wye

Several of our favourite clubs are in Germany, very highly recommended are

"Club Fantasy" in Frankfurt

and

"Blue Heaven" in Gelsenkirchen

Both reviewed on my own website, message me for the links, or Google "Janet's Eclectic Reviews".

Most West German people speak good English (less so people who were brought up in the old East), but it is highly appreciated if you at least attempt a few words of thanks.

If only Berlitz included useful phrases such as "Oooh that was a lovely gangbang".

You will have a blissful time.

Love,

Janet

You might want to try Club Casa Blanca in Menden (about 30 mins by car from Dortmund Airport. A large number of English speakers, including the owners and bar staff, we were there last weekend and it was FUN FUN and more FUN !!

That is a timely topic for us in the forum as we have just booked ourselves a few days in Berlin - 10th to 14th July.

Having done a bit of research we came across a swingers club called Insomnia which seems quite good.

Does anyone know anything about it? Or are there any alternative clubs that would come recommended?

As neither of us speak any German we were hoping to make contact with some kindly English speaking local guy/couple who might be interested in accompanying us on our naughty adventure.
