If you are wired up to a heart monitor, see if you can voluntarily slow down your heart rate. There will be a repeater on the nurses station and one of your pretty nurses will come round to see if you are OK. I tried it once, unfortunately it was the Ward Sister from hell who arrived. I told her what I was doing but she was not the least impressed. She accused me of playing with myself and turned the monitor to the wall.  |
