Any advice on how to make it more comfortable? Husband loves it and more often than not...I don't. We use a numbing cream, but that numbs him as well which kind of defeats the purpose lol
I really don't want to deprive him of this and there has been times where it's been enjoyable for me. Any suggestions and advice are much appreciated!  |

Definitely get him took look up on how to make it better - I would say practise more ..... but tell him not to just jump in and work your hole a lot until it does feel comfortable, and then try to relax yourself half the girls I have got into anal tense with the thought its going to hurt and if he's Hung like a donkey then get Another husband lol |

I don't believe in numbing creams myself - the whole point is to feel it isn't it? Plus you may not be able to tell if you are harming yourself if you can't feel anything, pain is the body's way of telling you to back off.
You say you have enjoyed it before...what was different about it those times? Did he take more time over it? Perhaps he needs to slow down a bit and let you relax fully.
If you really don't like it, don't do it. I would hate for someone to pretend they like something just to please me. Half the turn-on for me is knowing that she loves it as much as I do, if I suspected she was just 'letting me' have anal that would kill the mood. Does he know how you feel about it? |

believe it or not i can only do anal laying on my back with a pillow under my ass and legs on his shoulders i love it this way i find im more relaxed oh and lots of lube he has to be slow to start with or i tense up again bekki xxx |

You're right on many levels lol I guess what he can't get passed is the fact that I have enjoyed it quite a bit a few times. He doesn't understand it's not that simple for me. Slowing down would help tremendously, told him today it won't happen again if that doesn't happen lol

Lube, lube and more lube. Also relax and have lots of anal play before going for sex, there are lots of Anal toys other then plugs, try vibrating beads or an anal probe.. It's about training your muscles to relax slightly and you're best doing that at your own pace alone. |

It does take a while......before you learn to relax ( natural reaction is to push, tense up) but with plenty of lube (defo suggest poppers if you tense as this relaxes your anal Walls) but also tell your fella to take his time! .... Have some foreplay..... Rimming you and fingering before he SLOWLY! slides it in.......Well lubed... The poppers and learning to relax (through practise) will ensure every time is an enjoyable experience not just with alcohol

That, along with time and patirnce should do the trick.
Also, the position you adopt can help enormously. Try a foetal position, that really helped me when i first started doing anal.
Above all, only do what you are comfortable doing. If you dont like it, dont do it.

Lots of foreplay followed by even more anal foreplay. Rimming or gently stroking without penetration initially help me relax then spending time warming up with one, then two and finally three fingers, beyond three though tends to be counter productive for me.
I also find inserting 3-5ml of lube using a lube shooter (wide plastic tipped syringe) helps.
Finally working out a position that works for you. On my back in a swing seems best for me if unfortunately not always available. |

Yep lots of lube although different lubes work better than others ? Practice on your own with toys so you know what works use a verity or involve your OH by getting home to join in the foreplay but not touching your ass till you are comfortable with it all then go slow with you in control |

Use toys and fingers first. Start small and increase the size until your relaxed. Leaving a butt plug in for a bit will help too. Oh, and lots of lube..

Numbing cream won't eliminate all pain from anal sex anyway.
Even the strongest numbing creams will not make you oblivious to a cock in the arse, at best you're numbing the outermost skin of your asshole and the discomfort comes from deeper. |

We tried it on a 4 foot by 18 by 18 inch table, her feet were resting on my shoulders and I was sat on the table. She reached orgasm very quickly which was quite unusual.
