Hi all, I have recently discovered an intrest in bdsm, anyone have any advice as to getting in to the scene or any club nights that specialize in bdsm. Help would be appreciated  |

I agree a munch is a great way to meet like minded people... There are also loads of people with similar interests on here and there is a very popular website just dedicated to bdsm just search for bdsm UK.
Most swinger clubs have a bdsm night once a month which is a good way to 'dip your toe' in... And see if you like it

there are other sites for a LIFE in the FET scene. You will need to use google and see what FET LIFE there is out there....
As the scene is different and the level of play is different in terms of the cerebal element to play. Also good clubs will do a social meet mid week or even before an event.
In the South West on fet night, encourage people to go to a local pub a few hours before to chat etc, we think this is a fabulous idea due to the potnetial nature of the scenes / play..

Are we suddenly not allowed to name a site that has been mentioned on dozens of other threads?

Really?  I guess it depends how you use it, used as designed as a tool for those that are active on the scene to keep in touch and find out about events it's a fantastic site. Use it to try and find random hook ups not quite so good. |

Well I was more talking about finding hookups like this site, and have recently discovered that that site was not set up to facilitate this, so fair enough, it does keep you well informed about the general life of fetishes... |

Thing is, the fetish life in general isn't designed for casual hookups. The fetish and alt lifestyle requires a lot of trust and isn't always about an end goal in the same way swinging is, so it is unlikely you will find any BDSM site that is good for quick hook ups. |

Its worth noting that munches much like the swinging clubs are not for everyone - dont believe that a munch is the only way to make kink friends - there is a bdsm sub culture to swinging and so on here you find people that are into it but the FETish LIFEstyle website mentioned is a good place to both read up about it as well as meet other like minded folk
