Loads of single guys host parties the only thing we don't understand is when a single guy holds a party but will not invite other single guys, we see that as "having an ulterior motive" and would not go to such a party on principle. Personal view of course |

I used to host years ago when I was in my previous flat, before the internet; on the phone lines. I would have to know the people first & had chatted to them for a bit before doing it. I'll accomodate for singles, 3-somes maybe 4-5 but not more than that in a small flat. A 4 poster double bed and a sofa bed can only cope with so much ROFL. & then you have to think about saftey and not wanting it to turn into a d*unken piss up with folk getting pushy/aggressive. Accomodating folk can be bloody hard work to be honest. |

a very plush appartment off junt 7 M5 |
accomodating folk can be difficult no matter who organises the party
I used to organise socials in brum and the time it takes to organise FOR NO FEE is astonising
But its always worth it especially if you make new friends
I intend to rent a new house from the summer where I shall be having lots of men only and ME parties x |

We just had our first party and the same amount of single guys there then couples. Worked well for us and yes we would go to a party hosted by single guys if we knew them or somebody would vouce for them. But not been lucky there. So come on single guys more parties lol |

There are a lot of single guy on here who have loads of verifications, normally they are the guys who attend clubs or parties, often the verifications show that it was them that was hosting the party so obviously successfull parties can be organised.
It's still that single guy invite question for us though, ok some couples don't want to go to parties where there are single guys and some couples only want to go to parties where there will be single guys.
Therefore I would imagine the couples that go to parties organised by a single guy would probably like a few more to be there, I think it would enhance the hosts chances to invite more as that would attract the couples who are looking for parties with single guys in attendance.
As for the balance, that's a difficult one, it is important to get the balance right but not easy, really you need to know the people coming to the party or at least chat to them in advance, 1 couple could take the energy out of 15 guys in one night, get 3 couples there who like large numbers of guys (and many of our friends do) then you need quite a lot of single men, other couples just like 2 or 3 to be available. |

Mabye not usual but some single guys see it as a way of getting a meet by being the one hosting the venue/party. I am not geting a meet so maybe if I hold a patry things will change. Or am I being cynical lol? |

personally I would love the chance to hold a party but sadly at this time it's not possible,
But as to the question posted yes I have seen lots of parties advertised by guys.
As for Jed n sasha's suspicions they are well founded I think the guy's mind set is invite couples and single ladies but should he invite single guys !!!! obviously the more guys the more competition.
For me it has to be a complimentary mix of couples and singles both male and female
the perfect recipe for fun lol |

We were talking to a single guy in a club on fri that hosts his own parties and they're really popular,he has been involved with swinging for a long time and had his own club at one point
he has the pefect house for them too, secluded, plenty of rooms converted for play and a good mix of people
I did'nt for one second think that he was orgainising them for his own needs but why not enjoy them as much as the people you invite |
