Am I missing something, a lady i was speaking to said I can add/request an invite to the events that are listed around the site.
... how? can't see a button or anything perhaps i have the wrong end of the stick.

There's the "meets, events" facility (7th along in the menu along the top). This is where you can advertise yourself as available for meeting.
There is also the UK Forum and the Meet Requests and Parties Forum (left hand menu, in the forums section), which is where you can see details of the 'open invite' socials and parties. If you want to attend one of the socials/parties, add your name to the thread. |
