For me they hurt and often split which makes for no fun at all.
However, playing safe is sensible so I always try and get checked at the local GUM clinic every 6 weeks.
Bareback is that you are fucking every partner that person has ever fucked, that could be rather a lot in some cases. One huge gangbang.

Ambivalent. In my yoof the only reason for using one was for birth control when ones partner was not on the pill or had a coil. AIDS changed all that as did the scares on prolonged use of the pill.
Now use condoms more as a way of protecting against STIs than anything else. Personal preference has always been to go without but common sense overrides this. |

Well it would be interesting to see how many people that don't use them get checked and receive bad news.
I agree that to a degree they spoil the fun a little but I'd much rather that than end up with AIDS ect |

Why anyone would risk their health (in same cases PERMANENTLY) by going bareback is beyond me. Personally I think it's beyond stupid.
If the condom is hurting you or they keep splitting you are OBVIOUSLY using the wrong size, to go bigger. If you don't like the feel of the ones you are currently using, try a different type. Try a few different types until you find one that feels right. Some are actually so good you can barely tell you are even wearing/using it.
For me, if it's not on your willy, you're not on me. Simples. And if anyone thinks otherwise (especially in this scene) then you're clearly deranged.

We use them all the time without fail and dont find them a buzz kill. I would find some one unable to keep it up while wearing them a buzz kill or catching something icky a buzz kill ive always practised safe so dont find it a problem |

I have got putting them on a guy down to an artform. I don't even need to see what I'm doing. Saves him fumbling around for it! Most guys are useless at putting them on anyway 
If I take over putting it he can just carry on focussing on whatever else he is doing at the time

Every 3 months here and more often if I have a condom split/come off/other disaster. Recently started playing bare with a FWB after we both went for tests - obviously relying now on us both being honest with each other, but hopefully shouldn't be a problem |

Yesterday I bought Skyns Large in Tesco, again it does not state measurements but I am hopeful. |

If your condom is splitting usually means not enough lube,or oil based lubricant such as baby oil, lipstick, hand cream moisturiser etc is rotting it. Keep her wet and water based |

yes they do, they're on the box. Most durex are 56mm, skins large are 58 if i recall correctly but the passante king size (from superdrug) are 60mm. The 4mm over durex makes all the difference to me |

I made an informed choice. I read information from trusted sources. I spoke to a health professional or two.
There is much less chance of contracting an STI from oral sex than penetrative sex and of course it can happen but getting hit by a bus when crossing the street can happen.
Saying that there is no point using condoms for penetration if you don't use them for oral is a misconception. |

Nice one and I concur. I always use them and no excuse for not using them. Safe sex would be condoms and dams if not low risk sex with condoms and oral without. I agree oral sex as opposed to penetrative sex leads to less mucosal erosion and thereby lesser risk of transmission. Celibacy is perhaps the safest bet ! |

Health professionals have told us the oral route of infection is minimal but do not take cum in mouth as that ups the odds of infection via mouth so for us no CIM and condoms for penetration plus regular check ups at clinic. |

Why don't condom makers put sizes on the boxes?
Durex split and are painful, Skyns are better (Large) but still a fight to get on and soooo sodding tight.
Going to try passante king size next and hope, from reading on here, that they are large enough to be a firm fit but not a vice like painful grip ...

Most GUM clinics are very good, professional and I dare say even keep things light as they know people can get nervous. They are not measuring your exploits on a "naughty or nice" benchmark, nor are they judging lifestyle choices.
The only thing you can do is make all efforts to (proactively) protect yourself and those you play with, and (for me) double up with regular checks - condoms are only about 97% reliable after all (even when they don't split or come off). That way you cover your bases by reducing risk. Simplez! |

I think it's more STIs we are all concerned with rather than babies. There are many ways of stopping pregnancy but most of them won't stop STIs even condoms aren't 100% safe still need regular check ups |
