We thought about ringing but it could be really offensive as in "I say old chap we like to get our kit off and fuck in public with the odd cock or two joining, and we are not disposed to a bit of girl on girl either is that OK with your clientele kind sir?"...
If anyone cleverer than is has got any other ideas about asking please feel free to chip in...... |

A phone call in advance would be a lot less offensive than turning up, having paid in full, to discover shagging ain't allowed and that you're being ejected with no refund given. |

you will find if you ring them and you ask about day visits or a holiday there and ask them openly about sex , and you haven't got a membership card for the international naturist federation they will refuse you.........also be warned they keep lists of people they consider to be a possible problem and will forward to all naturist sites in the uk !!!! |

Under normal circumstances re naturist sites you would all be correct however, in cap last year a couple of friendly gentleman said they had been and found everyone to be very amiable......
But you are all correct about naturist sites, hence the question on here, and because you are all correct about naturist sites that is why calling could be offensive, we are not at all shy about calling but we very respectful to people not on the scene and would never put anyone in a position they don't want to be in...... That's why we haven't rung.... |

What you will probably find is that they cannot under any circumstances condone sexy fun. They would probably lose their licence if they did and what we found at these sorts of places is they discourage such activity. However there is nothing to stop you arranging things privately and as long as you don't make a nuisance or breach of the peace I guess there is absolutely nothing they can do to stop you arranging some naughties on here with like minded people. Just don't turn up as a mass of happy swingers, they'll rumble you straight away and probably ask you to leave. Common sense really is the watch word. |

That makes no sense at all. |

"Best to go along with no expectations whatsoever and get a feel for the place. Phoning up with any kind of sexual agenda will just get their guard up immediately and you, therefore, blown out."
this is gonna be our approach |

"Take the opposite tack. Phone up and say that you are concerned that there could be sexual activity. Does it occur? Is it permitted and how do they respond to it?
Genius! "
You don't suppose the folks at Acorns might think such an enquiry can from The Sun on Sunday? |

Think that any sort of enquiry to the campsite along the lines of "do you or don't you allow / condone sexual fun onsite" will make them defensive.
If they do allow it, they won't want to advertise it to people they don't trust. So they will say they don't and if they really don't they will say they don't and your no further forward.

"Under normal circumstances re naturist sites you would all be correct however, in Cap last year a couple of friendly gentleman said they had been and found everyone to be very amiable....."
The Cap is in France and in France people recognise that the exercising of rights carries corresponding obligations. At Cap d'Agde there are well understood unwritten rules that, if observed, avoid conflict between the prude nudes (family naturists) and the rude nudes (swingers). |

Agree with all that's been said. I am going there tomorrow on the off chance. Will be discreet and hope for an invite. A lot of naturists are fun minded. I have had an invite to join a bi couple there before. So know swingers do go there. Just be carefull |

We have been to many naturist sites at home and abroad, and had 4somes at many of them. The only naturist site that we are aware of that allows sex in the open in public is Terre De Soleil, and even then you have to be in the special play area.
If you try it at any UK naturist sites you will be asked to leave! If you phone up and ask if they allow sex in the open then they will probably ban you. Most UK naturist sites are very prudish, but what you do in your own tent or caravan is your own business. |

"Sorry to disagree, we were at Eureka recently and a chap was told off quite rudely for rubbing sun cream in his wifes back while lying on the grass in front of the pool!"
Really ???
That must of been the one day of the year that the local Vicar was visiting the club ! Lol !
Seriously though that's not the norm for Eureka ,,,,,, ask anyone who goes there regularly ! |

We were there in June.
The answer is no, it's a naturist site not swingers.
The owners have worked bloody hard to make it one of the best naturist sites we have been to so look elsewhere if you are after somewhere you can have open sex.

"Why don't you ring them?"
i think thats perfectly reasonable reply but given his reply the op obiviously thinks now hes asked that everyone should run about to find this info.
They prob have a website. And they would tell you the dos and donts if you rang.

Lets make this clear.
Acorns is a family naturist site, NOT a swingers site.
Any swingers at Acorns will be asked to leave and no refunds will be given. Swinging is not tolerated.
There are sites that welcome swingers, but Acorns is NOT one of them. |

Why does not allowing open sexual activity make somewhere prudish? |

Right then, here we go again.
I have just had a phone call from a gentleman who had the courage to ring up and ask if swinging was on the agenda at Acorns. I was not in the least bit offended, I was glad he asked the question before booking, so that there was no problem for him or the staff at Acorns when he arrived.
The answer to the question is NO.
Acorns is a family naturist venue, where people of all ages come to relax.
There are plenty of sites that welcome swingers and I know a couple of so called naturist sites mentioned in this topic also hold swinging events, so there are plenty of places to choose from.
Please do not come to Acorns expecting to have sex in the grounds or the hot tub etc. A close eye is always kept on peoples behavior and if we have to evict anyone it just causes bad feeling all round.
Thank you for understanding that naturist sites are not the same as swingers sites.

Can I just add to this thread that we visited Tything Barn in south wales 3 or 4 years ago and the message they gave us was much the same that sexy fun is not encouraged or allowed. It's the law I guess that these places have to apply to get permission to be a naturist camp site.
However we saw it go on but you do run the risk of being shown off the site if doing it too blatently.
All people who camped there had to produce Photographic ID and quite rightly so. We felt very safe there and thought that if we had found a couple we got on with probably would have had some discrete fun, but hey isn't that same wherever you go. Just don't go shouting about it. |
