Hi I am thinking of getting my clit pierced but not too sure to get the hood done or the clit itself .... Is there any difference in the feeling I would get ?? Your advice would be very grateful xxx |

You will find that a lot of piercers will not do the clit, but will do the hood. Also it would be very much dependant on your clit and if it is the correct shape/position to be pierced. I have a hod piercing, and went for a vertical piercing but was told that a horizontal piercing is the only one I could have due to the shape and size of the clit hood (I understand it is dependant on the amount of skin in the make up of the hood).
I loved mine from day one, but a few months ago, did take it out but put the ring back in last week (after being without for about two months) and had no problems at all.

Just noticed this second post. Personally I do get a lot of feeling from the hood piercing, but at first I did have problems walking down stairs when wearing jeans (it was just way toooooooo sensitive) and was a bit worried about my knees giving way  |

DO NOT PIERCE THE CLIT.. 
About 20 years ago and probably before piercings became quite fashionable or even heard off 
We had a meet and she really liked my clit hood piercing..
She Went off to some place and asked for her Clit-Pierced.. and that was Exactly what she Got !!!  
Words cannot decribe the pain she suffered...  |

Love mine.. Gives extra sensation..and love the sparsely little jewel I wear I would definitely shy away from actual clit piercing.. As other posters have said... Unbelievably painful and very unsafe..

Horizontal piercing for looks, a vertical piercing for extra sensation.
I love mine, I get extra pleasure from having it, although the extra pleasure isn't as much as it was for the first 12 months or so.
Everyone is different though. My best friend had hers done, and it hurt her real bad, she bled for a few days and thought she was broke when she had sex, because she couldn't cum. It eventually settled down and it's mind blowing still for her. Mine was pain free and I was having sex after a few days. |

It's called a triangle piercing.
So yes, you can have both, the problem being the second piercing usually has to go quite deep, so there is a risk of damaging the actual clit or the nerve endings. Make sure the piercer knows what they are doing. |

Cheryl has both. The horizontal is a ring and it was fine, hardly hurt at all. The vertical was difficult to align properly but was well worth the wait as it looks gorgeous. That did hurt, quite a lot, when being done because the guy had to be so deliberate in getting the needle in exactly the right position |

I have my hood pierced , with a little ring piece of jewellery , I love it , it was pain free when done , at first I wondered what all the fuss was about as it didn't feel much different , but after a few days after it was done, woweee it felt good when touched by fingers or tongue , I wouldn't be without it now , hence why I go commando as when wearing jeans it gives just the right amount of sensation without causing me to go weak at the knees .
 
Get it done by somebody who knows what they are doing and you, ll be smiling all day long . |

I had mine done 7 yrs ago when we lived down south in Milton Keynes , sorry that doesnt help you in our neck of the woods , tho we do know of somewhere in Middlesborough that we feel we would use , should I message you the info ? ( not sure on forum rules about advertising a named business etc ) |

I have a vertical hood piercing and I love it! I spoke to someone who said their girlfriend had it done and she barely felt any pain and they had sex that night. Well I have to say it was the most painful thing I've ever experienced! It hurt like a bitch. The piercing shop gave me a pad to wear for the bleeding and I had to wear one for about 4 days. It healed well and I was able to have sex after 2 weeks. I've had it done for about a year now and I don't regret a thing. Once at the gym i had a personal trainer showing me how to use a machine and I had to pretend and say I was too tired coz it felt a little too good hehe |
