Well... to wink or not to wink, that is the question? Just wondering what the opinions are out there. I do wink but starting to think it's pointless but on the other hand I don't know whether sending messages is to intrusive. |

If I get a wink from someone I like the look of, I always wink back and then messages follow from there and I have also winked and then had a wink back which I take as a green light to send a message...
I usually send a message but sometimes winks can be a good opener! |

As a single female, I think winks are a waste of time. Why would a single female respond to a wink, when we have more well-thought out (I hope!) messages in our inbox. |

Really can't be bothered with winks, I just delete em every couple of days. If someone wants to get to know me then they'll hopefully read my profile and know this and will send a message instead x |

We are too busy to meet at the moment, so profile is hidden, but at other times if we get a wink we view it as an invite to check out the profile, then we may wink or message back if we like what we see. IF that response is not followed up by a decent message then we tend to write of the profile as mass winkers. |

I am of the view that a wink is a simple way to show your interest, as long as the profile has been read, and a wink back, as said before, is a sign that a message would be appropriate. If the original winker does not message that to me shows a cant be bothered attitude and just forget the winker!
I like winks!!
And, as a single guy on here, I believe it shows a tiny bit of etiquette towards the women...
To me the process is, wink, then messages, then friend request.
Cant really complain at getting a friend request straight off if you are happy to bypass the first signal of interest.
Or am I just old fashioned???? |

I tend to ignore them and mass delete every few weeks. I can honestly say I've not got back to anyone who winked. |
