Have always wondered the same

Why would you ask complete stranger to help you describe yourself in the best possible way.

To draw attention to their profile and generate messages would be the obvious answer.

Most people don't take the advice anyway

Exactly, and if you need to draw attention to it, it must be rubbish, question answered

In your opinion it is. I often give advice, an then get thanks as it's helped!

Can see why newbies do it as they would like advice on how best to present themselves on their profile so dont have a problem with that.

But shameless " look at me " threads are just pointless and boring lol

When you for ask advice off a large group you end up with conflicting opinions anyway's. So as long as you don't have 35 cocks shots and open with a statement like "who wants to fuck me while my wifes at the hospital with one of our kids" then the rest is trial and error because you can't please everyone

London

It's a bit lame to ask for help - if they can't write an appealing profile then that's all part of the natural selection. Don't help them pretend to be more interesting.

(On reflection maybe that was a bit harsh...)

Nah....I'm starting to think that as well, except there's a guy asking who has a GOOD profile now!
