Fake Profile - Cat Fishing

How do you go about a profile you know is fake/cat fishing?
I've reported to admins but they just seem to be sitting on their hands/not prepared to do anything about it.
Send them a message you know about them and risk them blocking you and never knowing if it gets resolved.
Shame then on here? |

All you can do is report it to admins. Naming and sharing on here isn't allowed.
It may seem they "aren't doing anything about it" but we don't know how their protocols work - it could be they need X number of reports from Y number of different profiles before action is taken (as if just you've reported them it could be seen a disgruntled male annoyed the profile holder wouldn't meet, for an example). All the admin on here are volunteers and I'd assume there's thousands of reports and stuff to go through every day. |

Here is an explanation from Admin from another thread on how they deal with reports.
******Just a quick note. If people report others and we can verify that they have broken site rules, we always take action (either a first and final warning, partially suspended account, fully suspended, mixture of the above).
Every single report sent via the REPORT link is reviewed. Clearly it's not in our interests to have people on here who are bad for the site. Equally we need to verify what has been reported and be fair to those who have been reported.

PS. we never provide feedback on what has happened. It's just not practical given that we get 100s of reports a day.
Here is what the page says after a report has been submitted:

It might be worth posting what were the signs that it was catfishing/fake. Not everyone will spot them. |

When did you report? I have posted above how admin deal with reports and as they receive hundreds a day it can take time.
Don't name and shame, it's against the rules |
