What makes a good profile for a site like Fab?
Jump to: Newest in thread
I'm just wondering (primarily from the women) what sort of things actually pique a woman's interest when it comes to a male profile on here?
Besides the obvious ones of being well built and good looking which is usually a pretty good way to gain some profile visits, what can single guys do to give themselves a decent headstart as a relatively new (inexperienced) user? |

The best profile is one that explains what you offer and what you’re looking for. That’s more than just a sentence - it should allow people to gauge compatibility and attraction. That includes physical attraction, so needs photos that give a good representation of your current physique and style. |

Your profile is your shop window.
Your photos are uninspiring
You left default on the age
Your blurb paints a picture of someone who has little time and what he does have would be all about him.
His pleasure.

Should add it likely wouldn't even get to reading it because you have a shillouette as your profile pic and that'd be a delete straight away from me (and a lot of others based on past forum threads) |

Find the profiles of the people you'd like to meet, or those similar but maybe further away. Check their verifications as they're probably from people they've met. Check those profiles out and see what they've done. Take inspiration from those.

I can tell you right now that this counts for absolutely diddly squat! You can be deemed as such (which is subjective) and still get no traction whatsoever.
Been on here myself 5 years, I have hundreds of meet verifications from people I’ve met at events, along with a well written bio and tasteful pictures and rarely get responses from any cold messages I send out. Most will view your profile in stealth mode so you won’t even know who’s visited your profile 99.9% of the time.
Better to log off, move away from the keyboard and go meet people in real life. Be the big fish in a small pond, not the other way around. |

"...Besides the obvious ones of being well built"
I don't think this is true. Quite a fallacy in fact.
"...and good looking which is usually a pretty good way to gain some profile visits..."
I think you've been woefully misinformed. |
