Just a bit of a bit a rant really.
It's hard enough for single guys to message/meet on here, blah blah blah moan moan moan etc , so to waste time messaging who you think is a couple or a single female just for it to be a gay/bi-sexual man is just frustrating.
I know "fake couples" on here are a real problem and the signs are there.
No recent pictures, lazy pictures just taken from a social media account, no recent verifications. One was so careless that their Telegram username was completely different to their Fab username/age!!
Obviously FabGuys isn't enough?? |

Recent verifications account for nothing, I've been on here for a couple of years. Had a few choice meets never asked for or given any veries. I've had one of my old accounts resurface complete with veries that I've never even had. Lots of fake accounts unfortunately. |

I think veris are useful. It feels far safer to meet someone well-veried by other well-veried people. It’s not a guarantee but a profile with 20 visible positive veris is likely to be representing themselves accurately. |

Verifications will never trump your own common sense and intuition, but they are also useful in their own way.
Anyone with sense can sniff out the difference between genuine veris and fake ones, and in that regard fake veris are just as useful as genuine ones in helping you decide whether to communicate with people or not. |

I was chatting for ages with a woman last weekend, she had quite a few veries , all her veries had veries. Then her profile disappeared, I remembered some of her veries profile names and they had disappeared too. |

Why would I want my Telegram name to be the same as my username here??? So anybody could find me and try to chat? No, thanks.
There are usually plenty of red flags on accounts that would tell you they are not who you think they are. |

OP, seriously, why are you so hanged up on the difference between Fab and Telegram details? It's all internet, people can be whoever they want, they can use whatever name they want. I could have an initial S on here, then on a messaging app I could tell you my name is Anna, yet when I meet in real life I can say my name is Tracy. Who is going to call me out and ask for ID to check I'm telling you the truth?
There are other red flags that are much more reliable than just names/initials. |
