Hotel meet etiquette

Daventry,

How do people go about booking rooms for hotel meets - in particular when ónly one person is staying the night and may have other people visit after the first person has left. .

I'm sure hotels would rather not see a chain of people visiting a room booked for one person (although it'll be a double room so little extra cleaning than normal).

for instance - I book a room and arrange for body1 to arrivexa few hours after me (need time to get ready). Do I ust give them the room number and hope reception doesn't interfere/enquire as the room is only booked in one name. (Most online forms seem to want the names of everyone staying in the room).

Or am I better off trying to find a hotel where it's kit necessarily required for my visitor(s) to go through reception at all?

Being an unconvincing CD/TV - I'd rather not have to go through reception dressed to "fetch" them and would prefer that throughout the meet(s) - they don't see me in anything "male" either - i.e. I'm seen just as Stephanie.

I do know one hotel that's easy for me to get to that is partially built around a courtyard. - which should make things easier but it also has rooms in the main building too. There's another that when I stayed there 15+ years ago the entrance to the rooms was separate to the reception area but that's not so easy for me to get to and there's no guarantee that it's not been changed so that the rooms are only accessible by going past reception.

Sorry - just confused about the logistics - especially if I'm hoping to meet two or more people through the night. And it's purely about how to avoid issue's with the hotel. (No money is changing hands - though if they wanted to contribute towards the cost of the room, they're welcome but I'm not playing out any type of charging for sex fantasy - at least not yet - so should be fine regarding any immorality/keeping a house if ill repute (brothel) laws. To be clear- they are not laying to meet me, the room would be booked regardless.

Thanks in advance...

Yes, multiples are difficult. Two is easy, you just book for two people and have one key left at reception against your name. When I’ve been to this scenario there is invariably one person, usually an organising male, who goes to reception to let people in as they arrive. Also these sessions are best held late afternoon/early evening, when lots of people come and go anyway. They shouldn’t be run too late or you will disturb other guests and the hotel management will get pissed. Your best option is to do your research on local hotels to find a motel-style one where people can walk up to the door. Either that or find yourself a partner in crime who can act as your MC.

Your choice of hotel is key here. I find premier inns and travel lodges the worse for this. You need a hotel that is quite accessible.

Most people know the score with hotels, the key is to walk in confident, it helps if you have directions in advance. So just message your potential meet, the room number and instructions to get there (e.g walk through lobby, head right then up stairs one floor and turn left).

Village hotels are common for meets like this as most have their receptions away from the main area. But depending on the area there is always a good hotel to use.
