Hey all,
I've been on fab for a good while now, and despite my best and courteous approaches, am struggling as a single male.
Is it possible to get some constructive feedback? Either here of privately, it would be massively appreciated!

Maybe include something more interesting in your bio, something to show personality. To be honest, it's not a profile that I would read and be like wow gotta message him but if you had messaged me and had read my bio and said something decent, I would definitely reply. Overall, not bad at all but not stand out |

Does the woman in your pic consent to the image being on here?
I'm personally always weary of images of women on single guy profiles.
Your age range is 18-99 which also tells me you're willing to fuck anyone rather than have put much thought to who you're really interested in. No shame in being into women nearly young enough to be your daughter and older than your granny if that's your thing though.
Your bio doesn't give much about you or what you have to bring to the table or even what you're looking for in the way of experiences.
On the flipside, you've got 3 veris whereas many men have none after years so you don't seem to be doing terrible regardless.
Profiles, whether basic or not, will only ever get you so far. People are either attracted or they aren't. That's always something to keep in mind too |

It's fab mate, it's tough for lads. Saying that I've met a fair few so can't complain. One bit of advice. It's easy on here to let your confidence take a knock. There's 100 lads to 1 women so you just need to be lucky . GL |

I honestly find that it isn't about the numbers of women, it is about the sheer numbers of single men on here!
The best seem to have no problems, and the worst...instead of seeing what the best guys are doing, they post on the Forums asking why!! |

You had a meet in August so it can't be that bad.
As mentioned, age range from 18-99 gives the impression you'd shag anything.
Profile text needs something to make it stand out or be interesting to read. Comes across as just standard lines you can see in endless other profiles.
Pictures aren't bad, but you need more and they should be varied.
All these points help, but ultimately it's how you come across in messaging that will determine your success. The above points will only improve the odds that the message won't be deleted / rejected off hand.
Lastly, I don't buy the argument that men have little luck because of the male:female ratio here. As a single guy I never had difficulty in chatting to and meeting women. If your profile stands out, it actually improves your chances.

It used to be great on here about 15 or so years ago when sites like Fab were in their infancy. Devil's advocate here but single girls/attached girls/couples, you name it, THEY contacted YOU for meets. You could go online and literally within the hour have a meet or meets lined up. There was a fair spread of girls/men/couples and most were genuinely looking to meet up. Then, like the California gold rush, word got out and every Tom, Dick and Harry signed up for what they thought was "rent a shag" and ruined it for everbody. So now we have thousands of needy, desperate men looking for anything with a pulse, fakes, timewasters, dreamers, single men posing as couples, you name it the list is endless. |

The secret isn't your profile, it's how you approach the site. If you are looking for a hookup, fab isn't the place. The single guys with 20+ verifications are meeting people at clubs and socials. |

Thanks all for all your feedback. Varied and all helpful! It has been taken on board and to those I spoke to directly, I really had a think on your points.
Some changes which I feel happy with, particularly on profile. I know I won't be everyones cup of tea, but I hope it's a better bet.
