I dated this chick a few years ago. I was 22 or 23 I think. We only dated for 5 months. She was my first girlfriend. Anyway, it got too serious too quick and we split but remained friends. We see other people and we fine with it.
The other day she asked me to read her conversation she was having with this new guy. I was reading her texts and it started to get into sex talk. At one point she text him saying something along the lines of 'its been such a long time since I had a good shag, in fact, I never have to be honest'.
Wtf, I thought. I didnt mention it but if im honest, im a bit offended. Would anyone else be?
And I know the right answer is 'no I wont be offended' but really think about it. If your ex was telling people they never had a good shag, that would offend you right? Interested to see honest opinions. |

I would've offended then I would think that as she was your first girlfriend you wouldn't have had a lot of experience and also it takes two so if she's never had a good shag maybe it's her who's responsible.

She asked you to read the texts... Sounds like maybe she did that on purpose so you'd read it and feel crap. Bit mean of her. But as others have said you were both young and inexperienced etc.

Nah I dont think she did it on purpose. I think she forgot she said that to him. Great 4.0 to offended. Actually 5.0 including myself. |

not really seeing an issue here but your ego taking a bruising . be honest do you think that it has been rockets and fireworks for everyone youve been with? lets be realistic here ,not every sexual encounter can be a earth shattering religious exsperience .doesnt mean she didnt enjoy it or it was "bad" . i can garentee there are partners whove ive had who wouldnt rate me to high in bed and others who may . think thats will be same for anyone .

To be honest I think that she wanted you to read it all and not to be nasty to you.
I think it's her way of trying to path the way for a repeat performance now that you are older.
I can't see any other reason for a woman to want you to read texts from her to another man and his to her I definitely think it's a signal from her |

She is an ex for a reason or reasons, and I would be inclined to dissociate myself from her completely, as she does not come across as being very honourable, based on the little one-sided information posted here.

No we are friends now. She obviously forgot she said that to him before I read her texts. She didnt do it on purpose. I was just surprised she obviously didnt enjoy it that much. But I was inexperienced then so all fine |

People have a variety of agenda's and reasons why they do things.
People often say things just to obtain experiences or adventures most people do this either harmlessly or more seriously.
A text is nothing in the grand scheme of life compared to a conversation in person with body language doing the talking.
Your ex either see's you as a plutonic friend or was trying to see if there was any chemistry there by letting you see and comment on the texts...
