Afternoon folks
I have been back on here for about a month having had a long break, and fab has changed enormously.
Before I found it relatively easy to chat to people, have a laugh and have a few meets. Now it's a whole different world!!
I send messages to people being respectful, not being pushy, sending a pic with my message, asking to reply if they want a chat as I just don't want a quick jump but a conversation and rapport but get absolutely no replies. It does get a bit disheartening.
No I know people will say there are more men to women, my photos are crap, my profile is crap etc etc but I actually think my profile is ok and my pics aren't that bad.
Is it just me... |

simple maths will tell you what your first hurdle is ...ie the sheer amount of men and thats before we get to attraction and other things...
then add in theres less couples /women on the scene and then at least half of those use fab as social media and dont meet via fab ie clubs only
add in a lot of guys think its a shag anyone site as long as you have a cock women will drop knickers ...not
then theres the private invite only parties scene thats thats becoming big again where alot are not inviting guys..
quite simply put the scene is now harder for guys than i can remember in the 30plus years ive been on it most men dont ever get a meet |

I wouldn't say it is just you, it happens to us as well. Maybe attitudes have changed? We were never on fab when it was "good". We have been told by a few who we have made friends with on the scene that fab used to be great.

Also it says you are new to Sedgley. The Clifton is a nice place to eat. We have lunch there whenever we pass through 😁 |

It's a minefield this site sometimes.
We get a wife range of messages, from the abusive to carefully crafted and engaging.
However, experience has taught us even replying to the later type can be fraught;a polite no thank you or a banal chat often leads to people expecting more than I have the time/inclination/patience to deliver.
Hence it's now mainly easier not to reply.
Frustrating for the sender I'm sure, but it's a buyers market so to speak. |
