I always do it, last time was in Dubai and it came up with people 500/600+ miles away.

Not been fortunate enough to find someone near me...

Just be careful of data roaming charges on your mobile. It can be very costly.

I tried this in lanzarote in march - nearest person was 400+ miles away.

I guess it doesn't really work abroad

Don't they have to have fab actually turned on on there phone for you to see them so if your on holiday there may be fabster.s there but not with fab on at the time. They may look later and think bloody hell the nearest fabster is 400 miles away yet in reality you could be in the same hotel lol
