Apologies if this has been asked before… I’m sure it has but I can’t find any traces! Anyway, I wondered if there was a way of retrieving verifications from users who have left the site.

I had a couple of great ones displayed and since the user has deleted their profile, they’ve gone. It’s a shame the site can’t display the veris with a “deleted user” tag like you see in the forums when someone leaves.

Unfortunately not. Once they've gone UNLOS their verification is deleted.

You verification tally remains unaffected.

Afraid not. I had a lot of verifies from a couple I met who left site. Was sad to lose as reminder of good times with nice people

I've got hardly any written ones left as most have deleted their accounts. It's a shame you can't keep them

This would mean that the site owners would have to do some programming which is clearly effort. Spending money on the improvements is only worth while if the improvement generate more income and users.

I know what you're saying and its a valid point but it has been asked before and the reason given then is - nothing to so with money or site revenue as some may believe - but to protect the identities of those that have chosen to leave. Ok, if all you can show is the wording it may not give much away but there is that chance. And the ex-Fabber may have left as they've got a new job and its awkward for them to be here or maybe even embarked on a new relationship and wants to keep this part of their history hidden.

Sorry its maybe a dull answer but that's what we've been told on numerous occasions.

No you can't. That's what the OP is complaining about. The only thing that remains if the verifier deletes their profile is the verified Fabber's tally.

As the commenter said Fab automatically deletes the veri's text just in case there are details that might identify them.

Trust that clarifies.

This.

Much as it might be nice to have an old veri remain, when people leave all teaces of them has to go. Including the words they type. A veri from 'UNLOS' would be pretty pointless. You'd not know who left it and there'd be suspicion about whether it was genuine or not, thus making the system pretty redundant.

It is what it is.

Just go out and get some new ones. 🤷‍♂️😁

Fair enough. Makes sense when you put it like that. Thank you for the clarification
