Age restriction in clubs
Jump to: Newest in thread
I dont see a problem with 18 in clubs, you can drink you can vote, you can buy cigs.
You have been legally able to have sex for 2 years so why not.
I wish there had been clubs when i was 18 (or maybe there were and i didnt know about them).

General admittance it should be the legal age for which you can buy alcohol, vote etc. That is 18.
However like other clubs, like night clubs etc, should you wish for a specific (minimum) age, then you should choose on your minimum age of admittance. |

I agree it should be 18 like others said. Although at 41 anyone under 25 looks 16 to me anyway but do agree 18 is an ok age as ling as they provide a passport or photocard drivers licence to prove identification x |

As far as I understand, the minimum legal age for any licensed private club is 18 regardless of what that club is for - even Swingers Clubs - although any club can impose a higher minimum age: It's a private club and they set their own rules. A great many vanilla night clubs won't allow under 21's in, usually due to the increase in trouble that goes with it, but it can be due to additional restrictions imposed by the licensing authority, usually the local council. |

It is strange that it's 21 although I guess clubs are trying to protect themselves, a bit like supermarkets and their challenge 25 policies!
We've seen young couples on Fab that we've liked the look of and thought about inviting to a club and then realised they wouldn't get in, such a shame. |

"Some clubs are 25 wot an earth is that about ?"
maybe it is something about mature of age as well as attitude...
not saying it is right.. but i have been in clubs with a lower age limit and some people were like kids running around in a candy store...... |

I think it should be older than 18. Maybe 25. I think at that age, you should still be learning about your sexuality with people your own age. Maybe I'm just an old fashioned kinda gal x

That's like saying when you get to a certain age you should be giving it up.
We have been swinging 6 years been together 11 why shouldn't we have been aloud into some clubs a year ago then the wife was 24 ? |

Sorry my comment wasn't there to offend/upset anyone. Maybe its just because I was a late starter and I've only ever been to clubs where there's "older" people, or maybe its just cos I'm a mum and I don't like the idea of young people being in clubs. Have fun x |

Your not the only one and personally I don't want to go to a club where there is a high number of young people as there has been at a couple of clubs I have been to recently plus I don't really like the idea of being naked in front of 18 yr olds. That said though, I don't mind what age a club has so long as there are lots my own age to play with totally pointless going otherwise |

Except some have 21 as the limit so there was nothing stopping you going other than the distance |

I go so rarely to clubs anyway that people who do go often have a much more informed opinion i suppose.
But for me i have no problem being naked around people of any age; as for playing at clubs, I am 53 and a single guy, so offers for me to join in are limited (hence my infrequent attendance) and so how old the other guests are is immaterial.
I can sit and chat just as easily in a bar with an 18 yr old as i can a 50 yr old. |

Think 21 or even 25 is about right,
Just the nature of the experience.
Besides if it was 18 the chances of people under getting through the net are higher!
Thought of sleeping with a 18 year old at my age makes me feel a little sick and pervy!
Some may dis agree! |
