West Cornwall friendly local clinic

Hi there.

Any recommendations for "friendly local clinic" in West Cornwall?

Idea is "health checks".

Have things changed? In that the covid19 pandemic interrupted the happy routine of going for a check every 3 or 4 months. And interrupted the "socials".

So seems to be two questions there.

No idea on the socials or local clinic but most use the SH kits that come in the post - great if that’s an option for you and very convenient

Thanks for that.

Wondered if technology and the way of doing things moved on.

No wanting to get sprayed with ads. if do a Web search without knowing where to look - what sort of organisations do you go to for these kits?

Searched "SH:24".

Yup.

To anyone who was "in the lifestyle" pre-covid19 pandemic and now looking to be more "sociable" (given many of us ran on who we knew already for these few years during and after the pandemic) - this advice seems to be what you need - to get where it's at now with "order online" "do it yourself at home" tests which you send them off to be analysed.

Before the pandemic "they" were precious about seeing you in person and running through the "clipboard" questions. Now the opposite - "no symptoms" health-screen - tests sent and returned by mail given online booking.

It’s worth googling ‘Sti postal test’ plus your NHS area to work out which organisation will cover you. Or go through your GP’s website. (Where I am, it’s not SH:24, it’s another thing.). Your postcode matters, which makes things more complicated than it needs to be.
