There are many position options, so you could potentially ask your partner how they'd like to get fucked. If they have more experience with it, they could guide you along, when the timing's right for them, etc. Likewise, the intensity etc.
Both parties can use lube - as others state, you can use lots as well as reapply it. Take your own supplies, in case they don't have everything. Supermarkets sell a lot of stuff. |

Mention has been made of their level of experience. If they are used to being fucked anally but if it's a situation ot two total beginners you really need to get them nicely opened up first.
I hope that they realise the need to be well cleaned out (I suggest Loperamide from the day before and a good douche prior).
Then as mentioned, lots of lube. I find silicone lube is better than water based. It doesn't dry out into a sticky mess and though pricy a little goes a long way.
