Ironically, I would say WhatsApp (if used properly)
A very large number of phones have the capability to run a second SIM these days. If you have a second SIM you can install WhatsApp in the secure folder (certainly on Samsung's at least) and not only will you be using a number that's not associated with you anywhere but at the mobile provider but you can then manage the notifications out of the secure folder so they can't be seen by anyone you hand your phone to.

Make sure your social media profiles can't be searched by the cellphone number. Beyond that we think its fine to share a number.
You can't realistically expect people to trust you with their wife if you don't trust them with a phone number. Burner phones are a thing, and if you use your main one its easy to block or request your provider to give you a new number in the worst case. |
