I'm thinking of getting a sex-swing, for my bedroom. Can anyone kindly give me any advice or recommendations please?
eg.
Cost?
What and where to buy?
Installation?
Ceiling/height requirements?
(etc.)

Please refrain from smart-arse "try Google" comments! All (other) advice appreciated.
Thanks in advance,

Installation-wise, just make sure you go into a ceiling joist with something substantial.
The other thing is to consider whether you need to make it look ‘normal’ when you’re not using it - I know people who have used a smoke alarm cover to cover the hook/ring when the suspension point’s not in use. |

We've fitted ours to the rafters in the loft using a Heavy Duty Pad Eye Plates from amazon - two rafters. Then we've used climbing rope so that the weight is split across the two joists and the sex swing hangs down through the loft door.
It feels so sturdier than the original single screw hook thing it was supplied with. We can literally bounce up and down on it and it's not going anywhere. |

"Scaffolding in the room works well. Made like a four poster bed. Then you can use it for anything
I like this, my engineers brain just went off on a kinky adventure…"
Someone with whom I am occasionally intimate has a scaffolding four-poster bed - great for bondage and suspension. Recommended as a concept! (And easy to disguise with some fabric floofery if that’s a concern.) |
