Say more than just hello how are you.
I get so many of those, it's boring and I just delete them.
First read their profile, and I mean read it not just look at the pictures.
If you don't fit what they are looking for don't message at all, you are wasting your time and theirs.
If you feel you are what they are looking for say something that shows you've read their profile and maybe say 'I also enjoy ..... ' it will help show them you are actually interested and not just saying hi to everyone you see. Or ask a question about something you've seen on their profile so a conversation starter.
Also as you haven't asked for profile advice I can't give it but be aware most women will look at your profile before reading your message. Poor profile often leads to deleted or an unread message. It might be worth some work.

Read the profile, take at least one thing from it and mention it or ask about. Some profiles (cough!) make it hard to do that as they don't say anything interesting at all.

op are you really asking how top send a opening message ?? not being rude but how do you expect to meet others and have fun if you simply dont know how to message .... social skills is everything on this scene especially if your a guy wanting to stand out
also theres no magic way every one you message is different so just message what you think is right and you... and wait .... rejection or selection ie attraction and personality are what gets you noticed |

I agree, most will look at the profile to decide whether to reply, delete or block.
A good profile is the starting point.
Then, as others have said, a message that demonstrates you have read their profile and how you would complement that person/couple. |
