I have been on here a month or so with just a couple of “no thanks” messages to show for it. Many threads advise to really get into the scene (yes I would like to explore the social side as I enjoy meeting people) that you should attend clubs and socials as it is near on impossible to get any positive replies by messaging alone. I am completely clueless-how do you find these socials/events? All the ones I have managed to come across say “no single men” or “women and couples only “ My wife meets other men but any suggestions of playing together or her going to any of these events is a flat and catagoric no. Just wandering if anyone has any advice-many thanks! |

That's really sad. You don't even need to stick together when you arrive.
Most clubs do have days when single males are allowed to attend solo. You just have to see what days. I notice you are in Torquay, there is a swingers club called Within Temptation, have a look at that  |

But why would that prevent your wife from going as a couple to events |
