Go on Fab while you are in the pub / club and enable who's near.
We did it at one of our favourite local bars and there were 2 profiles that were in the same bar.
We ended up chatting to both that night.  |

put simply you dont unless things get flirty ... people have tried for years to make a sign for swinging mainly men (i wonder why) and it never works why because 99% of swingers dont want a sign they dont want mainly men pestering then whiles out and about ...
its why you see certain people pushing ''the sign'' agenda ... i could not think of anything worse ..
swinging is about meeting those you want to meet not those you dont
the latest upsidedown pineapple i have a friend who decided to get it tattooed he turned up at the club and nearly everyone spent the night taking the piss but he thought it was a real sign he now realise what a idiot he is for getting it done
even the anklets that are pretty clear in what they mean dont work |

And then what? Being approached by all sorts of people that think that because we are swingers we'll have sex with anyone or everyone? Single men who are not even swingers? Entitled couples? Couples that have had one too many on the night?
We prefer to keep swinging to clubs, parties and Fab, where we can socialise, mingle and control whom we approach if we detect some interest (and easily deal with rejection from them) and choose who we are open to be approached from.
So even if there was a universal sign for it, we would not use it in a vanilla environment. |

Id say if ur on fab in the bar then itll be down to the situation, if ur in a swinging setting and if you werent. Maybe a discrete message through fab offering a social chat or drink. And if its ignored or politely refused then stay away. Discretion and politeness is key |

We would go out of our way to avoid advertising that we are swingers in public!
To be honest, we would probably have second thoughts about approaching someone who advertised publicly too, we prefer a bit of discretion.  |

We are aware if some if the signs like inverted pineapple. But we kinda like to not advertise.
We would be more likely to find out by accident by talking than picking up on covert signs. Well the off woukd she can chat for Wales.
There are way to many single males who "identify as swingers" because they want a threesome or kink their partner isn't into and they are to cheap to pay for it. With the misplaced idea that when you give the secret signal/handshake everything is on offer.  |

I've been identified while out at the shops but then my face pics are known. Though they haven't come up to me I realised they are fellow fabbers by the way they give me knowing looks and smiles then they message me on here |

I never knew about the ankle thingy until a family member asked k if I knew what it meant recently (they have no clue about our fav hobbie) I was shocked and laughed it off as I like how they look mainly

I dont know but we once booked into a hotel and got a message off a couple on fab asking if they had just seen us booking into said hotel. We asked how they knew it was us and they said you looked like swingers. They were going to the same event and we shared a cab (but nothing else lol) |

I always heard about the pineapple and the grass outside, which always made me laugh. I bloody hate pineapple
Though it’s oddly easy when the wife and I go to clubs and stop over. You get the state and, occasionally, the FAB message from people who clock who you are.
Though I will admit it it would be a LOT easier if we could have faces public… sadly no can do. |
