These are two totally different types of people, fab how long does it take you to realise this
A TV/cd is more a guy who likes to wear his wife's clothes at the weekend
A TS is a woman 24/7 except has a willy if pre-op or non-op, but has a vagina if post op
Therefore TV/CD should be together, but TS should have it's own identity! |

If you are what people are looking for, does it matter that they see/call you a TV or a TS??
Yes, there IS a difference...but surprisingly most dont know it!

There is a point where you have to draw a line and say 'No more definitions' Otherwise there would be all manner of people (CD/TV/TS/GenderQueer/Questioning etc etc)
However, Until folks realise that there is a mahooooosive difference between a TV and a TS, then they will never realise! (if that makes sense?)
At somepoint there needs to be someone to go first, Either folks need to ASK what the difference is, Or TV?TS folks need to SAY what the difference is.
Anyone that knows me on here, will know there is a big difference.

I agree with you 100% And think it's about time Fabswingers tried to help improve the situation. I'm a Tv with willy, and really only attracted to girls. Where as a Ts (post op) is going to be attracted to men, so much difference between us,

What makes you say post op TS are attracted to men??? Once post op, most TS see themselves as women and have the same sexual preference spectrum as genetic females ranging from hetero to bi to lesbian.
Also CD & TV are not the same.
CD is a crossdresser and is generally a guy who wears female clothes usually for fetish/sexual gratification.
TV however are males who not only dress in female clothes but also strive to look as female as possible using wigs, make-up. prosthetics etc. The male is allowing his female personna have control but not to the point embarking on a TS lifestyle.
Hope this makes sense and adds to the healthy debate. |

a good thread. What is grating though are the comments that TV's wear their wives clothes. As an established T-Girl (my prefered phrase) i own my own bloody wardrobe thanks, more extensive than my wife's!  |

I'm an individual, there is no one like me..I look hot as a girl..and I also look good as a guy too..i do not wear my girlfriends clothes, i buy my own..i didn't want to dress up originally, my girlfriend talked me into it, she uneashed a beast I do not go out dressed, but all my friends know. I've never met any person exactly the same and have no time for people who just see a label and not 'me'

That's about right what you have said there, people care little for how you spend your life outside their company, Tgirls have their profile and pictures to explain what we're into and what we like. I think I do well on here because of my personality and skills in the bedroom rather than some label that some people want to attach to me.

I understand (and totally agree) that my transvestite friends are very different from my transexual friends (pre-op OR post-op).
But what do people mean by the word 'T-girl'? Is it either? Both? People who just don't like being labelled? I would really like to understand, and it's not the kind of question that we can ask at the coffee machine at work! Thanks

I'd like to have two seperate searches. I would love to experience a TS but I'm not into crossdressers. So even though its a matter of reading profiles carefully and trying to judge by photos, it would make life eazier.when searching. |

A fair question.
Its becoming a catchall phrase, covering folks who are CD, TV or TS. Its a take on TG (transgendered) which is another catchall, but T-girl is a nicer phrase.
Crossdrsser has become a negative word, tranvsestite too has got connotations so T-girl is a nicer, in my opinion, phrase to use which I'm happy with. |

the posts from some guys on here are quite funny as regarding they would meet Ts but not tv/cd
is fact that a Ts can look just the same..doesnt even mean because someone is Ts that they have had surgery or even on hormones...as many Ts feel differently about hormones and surgery for one thing. Also things take time..and also circumstances...money etc..many factors!
You are born Ts...u dont suddenly wake up and have tits etc..ts is how someone feels not looks. Againguys just watch Ts porn and all Ts have too look like that...reality is doesnt work that way at all. I know many Ts girls and some have took years to look how they do. |
