The cages in your profile are way too big for him.
have a look at the one i have, the flat one is extreme and it need to be used with something to keep it close to the body to have the full effect of the cage.
i would suggest you try a short birdcage one make sure you get the correct size ring to go around his scrotum and cock this is the most important bit.

I can definitely recommend a smaller cage, I've found mine more comfortable, there's just no room to allow any sort of erection, go for stainless steel too, much better for hygiene and ideal for longer term wear. |

Was always the ring I had trouble with or caused the most discomfort. I have a hinged one that’s easier to get on . I find metal the best for long term wear . Cages are easy . Finding a key holder is the hard part x |

Absolute nightmare trying to find one that fits right for long term wear.
Found that a solid cage with a little room to grow in cage best for sleeping as nighttime boners don’t cause the ring to pull on balls.
Only cage we found that fits this bill was poorly made and has sharp welds inside.
Have a whole collection of cages that are great for a few days but then cause sores or pain. Some it’s not even possible to sleep in.
I imagine it’s easier if you have a small cock that doesn’t grow to much but if like me you can fit in a small cage but grow to a decent size it’s very difficult

It taken many cages to find the right one for me, I'm a grower and so had to find one to restrict me to prevent getting semi erect which was painful. Also took time to find a good one for sleeping in. |

Sadly I don't have anyone who could be my keyholder, so there's no point my having a lockable device. I use a leather restraint which has studs to keep it closed around the shaft, behind the balls and over the head. Yes I have one with 6mm x60mm long tube, it has a short open steel cage, make sure is sterile and plenty of sterile lube. I’ve worn mine for 15 days continuously with no issues. I tried the plastic tube with steel tip, not comfortable and caused Slight bleed. I think it’s from where the metal tip joins the plastic tube. |

Agree with alot of what’s been said above about getting the loop around the scrotum right and then the cage needs to be a tight fit for long term use.
