So just before Xmas we discovered one of our best friends has recently been researching clubs and the lifestyle … so we came clean and told her about our escapades … turns out she had suspected for quite some time… she now coming to a club with us at weekend and has openly suggested we take things further.. she been wanting to ask for so long but feared rejection.. any others had this happen to them ? |

I’ve had a similar experience with regards to having sex with a best friend, we were both single at the time, we grew up together as we went to the same school and lived on the same road as each other, we stayed in touch after we’d left school and became best friends as we got older. We were having drinks at hers one night and ended up in bed together, the sex was great and wasn’t awkward at the time but the next day she was really awkward with me and didn’t want to be around me. From then on our relationship was never the same because she didn’t feel comfortable in my company so having sex was the worst thing we ever did together. I’m sure it’s not always like that when friends sleep together but it must always affect the friendship in some way. You should consider the possible effects it could have on your friendship with her and whether you are happy doing something that has a chance of ruining your friendship. |

Thanks.. the reason we got to her suggestion if things don’t feel uncomfortable we maybe take things further was down to hubby warning her she may see him full on naked while in the club… he said you may also see him fully erect or us both having sex..
Her reply was well our friendship has more than stood test of time… all 3 of us are more than mature enough and it been along time coming
And she doesn’t drink either |

It sounds like your freinds got the right attitude and aproach. There is always an element of the unknown. No one fully knows how things will be till you do. However you can use logic and gut feelings to help access if it's likely to be a good idea or not. Sounds from what you've said this could work or at least shouldn't seriously backfire.
As I understand it you aim to go with her to a club. I think the key is just to do that with no expectations and no pressure. Just go with her and see how it flows. Clubs after all are just good social spaces to hang out if nothing else. Just help her feel at ease and comfortable, then take her lead on stuff. Be it if she doesn't want to do anything, wants to play with other and/or wants to play with you (if that's something mutual, that it sound it is). Just be a good freind and help her to enjoy the evening how she wants. Including (if she feels comfortable) giving her the space to explore alone if she indicates/hints she wants to. |

Very wise words… we actually have said all this too her but ultimately she replied .. ok well I propose we head into the jacuzzi where we all have to be naked… see how that feels and if we still think it could work we head off to a private room.. she appears to be making all the moves |

Good job you warned her that if you all go to a club together she might see your husband naked or you having sex….she might not have realised that if you hadn’t told her…. |
