Does anyone know much about provera, the period delay tablets.

Maybe going for a spa weekend and trip to jaydees but totally wrong time of the month.

What are the side effects like?

I haven’t tried this, but did find sponge tampons on Amazon.

You can play while using them, have been very good for me x

I've had them before they take around 3/4 days to stop/prevent the period, I did still get the pms unfortunately.

Worked very well for a high mountain ski touring expedition a few years back. x

As long as you start taking them in the recommended time before your period is due they are very effective.

The downside is they can mess up your menstrual cycle for a while and your next period can be heavier.

A good short term solution.

I’ve not used this brand but I have Norethisterone. Found those to be great, a few cramps. And a period 3 days after stopping them.

They do work but when you stop well for me anyway I bled for over a month badly
