why is it when i reply to an email with "thanks but not what im lookin for, happy swinging" reply, do i get attitude responses? maybe i should do what others do and just delete the email if i dont like!!!

Par for the course I am afraid, report if necessary, then block but make sure you use the note facility, that way in a year or so time, you know why they are members of your block list

Get the block stick out and don't give the losers anymore of your time. We have had to block three people this week one for being obnoxious one for not taking no for an answer and the other one for being a fake.

How rude! I always reply either yes or no. When I have "knock backs" myself, I am always polite. This is a swinging site, its about fun!!

I had the same problem, and I'm afraid my solution is to delete WITHOUT giving them a 'thanks but no thanks' message. It is uncomfortable to do but .... my 'thanks but no thanks' mail got three main responses. The nice response was silence or "thanks for letting me know, and happy swinging to you, as well". But unfortunately, there were two types of not-so-nice response:-

~ "why not" (opens up a whole world of pain, if you try to answer)

~ "your loss" / "frigid bitch" etc (do we really want to be insulted because we don't actually want to have sex with men we're not attracted to?)

So now, I rely on the FAQs on this site, which say... it's NOT rude not to respond.

Sorry to the nice guys who I didn't reply to ... I wish you happy swinging

The only time I say thanks but no thanks are to the ones that have read and made an effort with their message. I usually get a thankyou back. If they haven't made an effort and just say hi, fancy a fuck, I'm in your area etc I just delete, if they message again I block.. No big deal.. I don't give it a second thought now.

You can see why single guys get such bad press. It only takes a few vicious morons to cause a bad reaction to the majority (I hope) of decent single men on here. I can't blame for not replying to all messages if thats the thanks you have, and am now a little more understanding about lack of acknowledgement of some of my messages.

These are the guys who see this site as a last resort in pulling women. They assume that most (if not all) the women on here have fairly low standards and are happy to take what they can get (much like themselves!). Or they have a misplaced arrogance about their own desirability. No bloody wonder they can't meet women outside of the scene.

Firstly the top quote is so funny...

Secondly I have never experienced a bad reaction yet that I can think of. I only ever block as last resort if its a lame or weird message and they keep contacting me or when men pretend to be women!

I don't find it rude to not respond. When I first saw a post about how rude people were for not saying no thanks I was quite shocked cos I had never expected a reply to any message I sent unless they were interested.

If someone finds it rude then as far as I'm concerned their not for me as I find the attitude a bit up ones ass

I think a healthy dose of Fab is good for all of us! It helps us understand the dynamics of life! When I was last unemployed (5-6 years ago), it was 'the norm' that employers would send an acknowledgement of all job applications, saying "we will contact those who have been shortlisted within the next 7 days, if you don't hear from us, please assume you have been unsuccessful". NOW, 95% of my job applications are just ignored

Agree totally - i used to reply to everyone but just got so many arsehole messages or "why?" messages that I don't always reply any more
