Ok, so. Phimosis can start later in life, it doesn’t have to be something you’re born with. There’s various forms of treatment available, so go and see your doctor. I know a few blokes who’ve had issues as grownups, some of whom chose to be circumcised and some who didn’t need it. |

Phimosis doesn't always have to be problematic but it certainly can be if you cannot clean under the foreskin.
Definitely a trip to the GP. |

Interesting...
The OP asked if anyone has had problems with their foreskin..Only one response that identifies with the OP.
Two Women have given advice which may or may not be useful.
If this was reversed and a woman asked if anyone had experience of vaginal issues etc and two men responded with advice, I suspect there would be a backlash..
Good luck OP and hope more guys share their experience with you.

I always had issues but eventually I just started pulling it back when I was soft. Working my way up to it. It eventually just stretched. If I haven’t had sex in a while it’s tight again.
Lube also helps btw !! |

I had some issues which began after I’d frayed my banjo. I went to the doctors with the intention to get circumcised but they were very reluctant and advised cream and rest, annoyingly.
Afterwards I had a second issue and still no dice with the circumcision.
For a short time afterwards I was very cautious about it happening again and seemed more sensitive and played on my mind.
That didn’t last too long tbh but now I seem to have the issue you’re experiencing. Struggles to get over and down but once it’s made it, it’s all good. Just takes a bit of adjusting initially.
I’m going with that he’s bulked up and the skin hasn’t caught up just yet  |

OP I had the same issue so feel your pain (excuse the pun). My phimosis was quite severe and I couldn’t have intercourse. My GP prescribed steroid ointment which helped to some degree but ultimately didn’t solve the problem.
Eventually referred for circumcision and frankly I wish I’d had it done years ago. It takes a short while to get used to it but once you do it’s great…..and completely pain free. |

Thanks for the advice guys, I've been using lube but it seems to get severe inconjunction with the odd occasion the Mrs has thrush issues, I'm going to contact the gp today, I have been using hydrocortisone as its a steroid that help a little but is an issue that needs addressing |

Have you taken an oral treatment for thrush yourself?
You may be reinfecting her while being asymptomatic yourself. If a woman has repeated thrush, her regular male partner(s) should be treated with oral medication. |

I wouldn't use a steroid anywhere without a doctor's advice - even if "twenty" other people advocated it. |

Completely pain free? Do you mean that you’re now pain free as it’s been a while since the operation or do you mean that you didn’t feel any pain at all, not even directly after the operation?
I was circumcised at a very young age for medical reasons, maybe about 4 or 5, but I can still remember how painful it was for a while after the operation. If any part of your body was cut off it would be painful but especially so when it’s the most sensitive part. I guess there’s a slim chance that you have an incredibly high pain tolerance and feel absolutely no pain if a part of your body is cut off but if that was the case you’d be a medical miracle.
If you’re saying that it’s pain free now because the operation was a while ago and you’ve fully healed then that’s more understandable. |

I had nothing that could be described as pain after surgery, some itching as the skin healed but nothing more. The stitches dissolved within 3 weeks and soon after it was brand new ?? |
