TMI alert but hopefully useful!! There shouldn't be any poo in the lower canal. It doesn't just sit there waiting to come out - if the poo gets that far down you'll need to go to the loo! However there might be the odd little bit so if you know you're going to have anal it makes sense to douche. No need to fast if you have a predictable digestive system. If anything feels a bit dodgy don't have anal! And accidents can always happen so if you're scared of poo don't even go there. |

If you have a healthy diet and a healthy gut, there isn't loads of poo in your anal canal unless you actually need to go to the toilet.
I, personally, do not do any kind of prep. I just avoid anal when my IBS is playing up. I've never had any visual residue or accidents of that kind during anal.

I'm a bottom and I always prep before hand. Douche and shave (sometimes). Never bareback. Ofc you aren't always going to 100% clean. Accidents do happen. Happend to me once. The guy was very understanding and told me it was OK and made sure I felt okay. He was a proper gentlemen.
