I’m looking to get back into a bit of panty wearing/cross dressing and could do with a bit of advice…
Where is best to purchase from? Ideally I like to see things in person before purchasing which can obviously lead to some awkward scenarios… “what size would I need?” Etc.
Are the any high street shops that accommodate men in my position? |

"Just go to any shop or supermarket that sells knickers. You can't try them on so it's irrelevant that you're a man. Find out your size via Google. "
Small town guy here… milk, bread and a thong isn’t really an option! |

"What's your waist and hip measurement? That'll help with sizing.
I wear a 34” waist in jeans?"
Maybe buy a stretchy pair of size 12s first, if they're a bit snug go for a 14. Medium would be an option. |

I'm a 35"-36" and wear a 14 in M&S knickers.
Also... M&S, good knickers.

Oh and if you find pairs of knickers you really like (especially M&S in my opinion!) buy all the colours as soon as you are happy with sizing! M&S have done so many lovely pairs that I’ve gone back a couple of weeks later and they no longer have them! |

Yep, same for bras.
Also if you see matching bra and knickers but two pairs of the knickers at least. I've made the mistake of only buying one pair too many ti.as |

Also found Vinted was quite a rich vein of lingerie too… |

Does it? I find it hard to navigate and give up. |

I found that I searched for the bras I wanted and that most sellers were selling sets, I ended up buying for sets from one lady! Boux Avenue ones which I find fit quite nicely.. |

M&S Bra's can be variable. I have the Rosie plunge (40A) which is awesome.
Matching Rose Brazilians or High legs with the lace/mesh backs are currently my go-to knickers.

I think I have a few pairs of those too! They did a lovely blue edition a while back..
And yes, bra’s vary hugely! Not just M&S but most makes seem to.. i usually wear a 38g when with tits, but Ann Summers had it as a 40gg in one bra and 38f in another..
I found bravissimo was quite good for advice .. (though I did find the ladies in Ann Summers to be so helpful & fun!) |

Asda do quite a nice range of knickers and underwear. Go to a 24 hour Asda, late at night when it's not busy and then pay at the self checkout. At 34 waist I would suggest size 12-14 first and see how they fit then go from there. It's a little bit trial and error at first but you'll get there. |

"I love Aristoc black hold ups from Boots but always nervous buying them..!"
Don't be. The person who cares the most about this is you (and oddly, other men).
No shop assistant is going to give a shit and I reckon the only shifty glances you're going to get are from... men. Which is weird if you think about it.

All the above is great advice OP.
All the big supermarkets that have clothing depts have great ranges of lingerie and Panties. As others suggest, a size 14 is a good place to start. If you are nervous with shop assistants then use the self checkouts … even the larger M&S have them now! On the subject of M&S, as every lady will know, they are a Mecca for lingerie, and knickers of every style, colour, size etc … my knicker draw is full of them.
Don’t ever be nervous at buying things at a till. As others have said, the staff really aren’t bothered. Even if they were, they would treat you as any other customer, they are grateful for the business. I know this is perhaps in a different league, but I often go out shopping fully dressed, and don’t pass easily beyond first glance, and I have never been treated with anything other than respect, and warm smiles from shop staff… so buying panties should be a breeze.
Good luck OP x

Try vinted, there are some really nice things on there, some can be really cheap, I bought two thong bodysuits from there, you can barter with the sellers, but they were less that five pound, so I just bought them for the price they wanted, one was brand new with tags, the other was pre worn and washed unfortunately lol. |
