How many couples

We've know of a couple over the years. Swingers are no different to vanilla people. Relationships don't always work out. However to be fair proportionally wise I think We've known more vanilla couples breaking up than swinger couples. |

Swinging couples are definitely a lot happier than vanilla couples . Swinging is fun not just sexually but socially and once you take fun out of a marriage what’s left of it ? We know swingers that have split up but probably because they stopped swinging. We know a lot more vanilla couples un happy in their relationship and some even seeking affairs. Think the cause of most break ups is lack of sex and intimacy once you stop loving together you stop laughing together |

100% agree with your comment. Swinging is also liberating, you can share your deepest desires with your partner, without feeling judge, great for marriages.

over the 30+ years loads ... swinging only works if your a super rock solid loving couple who are 100% open and honest with each other sadly there are many who try swinging to try and fix things or very one sided they dont last this scene will split you in two if something is not right

Swinging couples not any different to other couples in how relationship’s might break down. In some ways swingers have a more open and honest relationship so better. Just my experiences over many years of course. We know some swinger couples who have been married for a very long time. Same with non swinging |

This is the main reason why my wife won't enter the swinging life style she has said if she ever fucks another man she we fuck off with him. Guess that's the end of my fantasy to watch her getting a good fucking off another man |

We know couples that have gone their separate ways but don’t think swinging was the only issue they had .
We know couples that only swing to try and stop their partner from cheating that is not going to end well. |

Swinging would be over before our relationship was over. My priority will always be my partner, I would rather lose all swinging activities than lose her. Swinging is only magical with her, without her i don’t think I would go anywhere near it.
If we ever felt it was a cause for concern it would end immediately |

Wife asked me if I would cheat her and I said that if I wanted to have sex with the other woman we can just go to the club and have mfmf with the other couple.
Do you think this is the reason for having better relation with each other ? |

"How many couples do you know of who have split up due to swinging? My friend is just going through this and I am curious, thanks"
At least two, a friend (his wife fell for another guy) and a couple we met (he became insanely jealous of his wife's interest in Cherry ).
Swinging is NOT for couples unless solid as a rock and you've talked in depth about the risks, rules, boundaries, keeping feelings for others in check ! |

I've know one woman who split up, but she started swinging to find what she was not given at home, and he never knew. |

8 years in the party/ clubs scene and yet to really see a couple who would make me want to do this with a partner.
Know a few who have stopped or split up but know loads who I think prefer the idea of it than the doing.
Definitely only a whilst im single thing for me |

Hmmmm I wouldn't say swinging split me and my wife up but it may have been a factor.
My wife was driving it more from the start, ok I didn't take much persuading but after a while she began to get insecure if she thought the girl was hotter than her. Jealously started and she thought I was doing it with her (I wasn't) so we took a break but ultimately it was financial problems that caused the break up |

We met as singles on fab
Now married for 5 years
As soon as we were together our singles profiles were deleted
No great loss for me (mr)
We then got a couples profile and said any issues , we stop swinging
We have had a meet where we had a social , then weeks later an arranged club meet
On the night , we had a grown up , what do we want out of the meet conversation
Then half way through the meet , in a playroom there is total meltdown , screaming , tears , fistie cuffs !
Their profile was deleted before we even got home
So we've seen a break up in the flesh , and it wasn't pretty
You have to be rock solid in your relationship or you will get found out very quickly |

I think a lot hinges on boundaries: soft swap, full swap, the nature of the exchanges, how the couple has been together...
Regardless of type of commitment, sexual orientation, differing familial circumstances, financial issues, new kinks... the true test of any relationship is full disclosure.
Without honesty, no relationship, vanilla or otherwise will last long. |

I disagree that swinging couples are happier. For one thing it's incredibly dismissive of the millions of happy monogamous marriages and it also assumes that swingers are somehow superior. |

Ooo that is so sweet!
I came to swinging as a couple rather late in life, as I was single for many years. I *was* a swinging singleton though... Best sex was had with married/attached guys. Even had my first MFMF when I was still swinging. Ahhhhh... fun times.
Life's too short! |
