Photo verification for couples

We're fed up with some 'couples' contacting us only to find out - upon closer inspection - that they're just sad blokes pretending to be a couple by putting pics of their girlfriend/wife on their profile in order to look real.
Shouldn't all couples have to be photo verified because, let's face it if they're a real couple it's not difficult!
Just an idea

we not photo verified but we are genuine and have had lots of meets and veris and pics together to prove this.fake couples are easy to spot.anyone on for over a year and no veries is suspect,you will never get to meet or speak to the lady if a meet is arranged,they are always working away but she gives her blessing to meet you first.lol.she is sick but says i can bring a friend,she is sick can i come on my own,no you can't speak to her on the phone she doesn't like talking on the phone or is in work all the time.the amount of excuses is quite comical now .so think you can spot all them without a photo veri .tbh they could still break up and pretend to be a couple still after it which we found a few we redoing too.just good old common sense is required to flush them out.  |

We've had plenty of fake couples who've contacted us being just the bloke as they've actually split up but hes either continued to use the profile or re-registered with the same verification photo as your not required to put a date on it either..  |

Yep - you'll only ever see pictures of the fem for starters!! 
Oh. Nope. Hang on..........
Seriously though - use common sense and a rigid system of managing contacts - early phone call with both or webcam (with sound!) or hey - maybe even just a social drink/coffee!
Or just go the whole "Proof of Life" route and get them to strip naked and write in big, bold black marker a secret message you've given them and get them to email you a picture, holding todays paper!
There's lots of ways to avoid the fakes - honest!!  |

Hmmm.... there's only really pics of me on our profile - so glad you've then said 'nope' to that one!
Also, I (female) may go on cam, but never with noise - and I never speak on the phone to someone either - so those wouldn't work with us.
OP - sometimes it's a 'gut instinct' thing. Sometimes it's from experience. Sadly there will always be fakes and timewasters on any site  - of any gender/ type and you just have to hone your skills in a number of ways to find which work for you in identifying them. But photo-veris aren't worth much, imo, and certainly don't stop guys using pics once the couple have split (all too common) |

Photo verification are worthless. We never verify via phone or cam and probably never will. If we have suspicions then we walk away. Harsh yes, and we've probably missed out but trusting instincts pays dividends and we've never encountered a no show yet.
And if someone asked us to go on phone or cam to verify then no chance, there is enough evidence that we are genuine. |

You'd be surprised that depite multiple verifications and links to our Fetlife profiles we still get asked to go on phone or cam. To be honest we won't, if someone lacks the ability to make an informed decision as to whether we are genuine then we probably wouldn't get on.
We are also happy to meet unverified couples without checks and just trusting our gut instincts. |

Sometimes a couple profile will have veri's from meets from some time ago. Some may be a couple that have not met in ages, but some of them the couple has clearly split up and it's only a bloke left on the profile.
The only way to be really sure is to meet I guess. And trust your instinct. |
